"Hey Rose. How are you doing?" asks Katherine. "Just fine Katherine! It's not like the two guys I have known since we were five turned into wolves or anything. Yeah I am totally fine." Rose replies sarcastically. "Rose please calm down. We saw the whole thing too. We just aren't as freaked out." says Caleb. "Of course not. Ya'll are relaxed about everything unlike me. I have so many questions for Jay. I wonder where he is." Rose sighs. Jay and Dawson pull up in Dawson's truck and Jay jumps out. "Rose!" shouts Jay. "Oh crap. Here comes wolfey." teases Caleb. "Shut the crap up Caleb." says Katherine. "Hey Jay." trembles Rose. "Rose, I know you are freaked out and everything, but I can explain. You don't have to be scared of us." says Jay. "Jay. Why have you never told me this?" asks Rose. "I never wanted to tell you because I was afraid you would be scared of us and never want to see us again." replies Jay. "Oh, of course. I completely understand." sighs Rose. "Rose let me explain tonight. Where it all happened." suggests Jay. Rose nods her head and quickly walks to class. "Don't worry Jay. She is going to be ok. Once she understands she will accept us. Then she will date me." mocks Dawson. "What makes you think she will go out with you?" asks Jay. "Oh come on Jay. I mean she is going to be my girlfriend whether she likes it or not." replies Dawson. "Are you saying you are going to force her to be your girlfriend?" ask Jay with a worried tone. "What, did you think she would go out with you?" mocks Dawson. Jay nods his head and Dawson laughs. Dawson pushes Jay back from him with an evil expression. Dawson walks away to class with everyone else. "Don't worry Jay. We won't let Dawson get Rose." say Katherine. The three of them walk to class and sit down. "Glad you finally came." mocks Dawson. After another long day Jay and Rose met up near the lake. "Okay Jay. I finished all my homework so I have the whole night. Start talking." commands Rose. "Okay. In my family we are werewolves. It begins on our thirteenth birthday. That is when we start to change. We can change whenever we want to. Except on a full moon. The light from the moon forces us to change. After a few minutes we can change back. We come from a long line of doing this. Our oldest grandfather got scratched by a wolf. He changed on a full moon. He scratched our oldest grandmother and they had kids. It has gone down from generation to generation." Jay explains. "That is amazing Jay. I am sorry I freaked out." apologies Rose. "It is fine Rose. I just didn't want you to think I was a monster. I love you Rose and I don't want to lose you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me." says Jay. Rose gasps in shock and hugs Jay. "I feel the same way Jay." says Rose. Rose and Jay stare at each other for a few minutes feeling like the world has stopped around them. The moon's crystal color shines on their faces. Jay puts his hand on Rose's cheek and kisses her cherry lips. Dawson stares at Rose and Jay with anger inside. "I can't believe that dog thinks he can steal my girl. I will make him sorry." whispers Dawson. "Rose I am about to change." says Jay. Rose backs away from Jay and Jay turns into his elegant wolf.
