Chapter 2

The sound of an alarm clock woke Ash up with a start. He stretched his arms and legs. He swings his tail around as he yawns and then hopes out of bed and got ready for his journey. "It's a good thing I set my alarm clock to seven in the morning or I would have woken up late." Ash said as he goes get dress

He took off his pyjamas and put on the clothes he normally wears, which was a blue collar that he wears around his neck and some blue bracelets that he wears around his wrists, and his black and blue shoes. He smiles as he looks at himself in the mirror. He then added a black hat with a white pikachu on the front as he smiles. After checking everything was ready Ash ran downstairs.

As Ash made it downstairs and to the kitchen. Blaze was in the kitchen when he entered. She had made pancakes and sausage for breakfast and Ash sits down at the kitchen table," Morning, Sis." He said smiling," Morning, Ash. You all ready for your journey?" She said/asked as Ash nods," Yup, I'm already to go!" He said excitedly and Blaze smiles," So, you picked what starter pokemon you want?" She asked," Yup, but it's a secret." He said with a giggles as Blaze nods and smile

After finishing his breakfast Ash ran as fast as he could to Professor Charles's laboratory. In his mind he was thinking about what one of the three Pokémon that Shadow might choose since he already knew what he wanted. The first was called a Snivy, A grass type looked a small snake, with a leaf on the tip of its tail. Second was Tepig a fire type. It was a small black and orange pig like pokemon. And the third was a Oshawott, a small otter like pokemon. All three seemed cool to Ash and he wonder what Shadow would pick

Soon Ash was at Prof Charles's lab at last. He ran the doorbell and there at the door was Prof Charles," Morning, Professor!" Ash said," Ah, morning Ash. Ready to pick your pokemon?" He said/asked as Ash nods," Okay, come on in." Professor Charles said with a smile on his muzzle

Professor lead Ash to his research room in his lab. The research was room was where Prof Charles, kept his machinery for research and where he stalled the starter Pokémon for new Pokémon trainers," Well, Ash,"What's your choice? Snivy, Tepig, or Oshawott?" He asked

As Ash was going to say which one he wanted, two other mobians entered the room. One was a black and red hedgehog and the other was a green cat. Ash knew them both. It was Shadow and Trip

"Ah, Shadow and Trip, good timing! Ash was just about to pick his pokemon." He said as they looks at Ash. Ash smiles and then picks up Tepig's pokeball," This one, professor." He said as Charles nods," Ok, your next Shadow." He said

Shadow nods as he then picks up Oshawott's pokeball," This one, professor." He said and the professor nods and turns to Trip,"That leaves you with Snivy then." He said as Trip grunts and takes Snivy's pokeball. Prof Charles then gave Ash, Shadow and Trip their own pokedex and five pokeballs

Ash headed out the lab. He wanted to get home to say goodbye to his sister and pick up his rucksack. Ash then runs to Shadow," Want to travel together?" He asked. Shadow gives a small nod," Sure." He said as he crossed his arms over his chest," Alright then! I'll meet you at the edge of town then." He said as Shadow nods and they both headed home

Back at home Blaze was waiting for Ash, when she saw him coming up the path, she smiles,"Got your pokemon?" she asked,"Yes I did!," Ash said. Blaze nods as she handed Ash his rucksack,"I packed some food for you and your pokemon." She said

"Thanks, Sis!" said Ash. "You're welcome, Ash," said Blaze said as she pets Ash's head and Ash giggles a little,"And make sure that you stay safe and keep out of trouble." She said with her hands on her hips,"Don't worry, Blaze! I won't and everything will be alright.," said Ash. Blaze nods and hugs Ash and Ash hugs back and then they parted and Ash leaves his home
