Missy's POV
I wake up to the sound of the morning call, a loud, carrying whinny accompanied by the gong of a bronze bell.
I clamber out of my straw bed and quickly get changed into my walnut coloured clothes, brush my sandy hair and slip on my black and silver shoes. "Morning Missy!" Oh no, it's dad, he's always trying to boss me around.
I know I should be happy and proud to be the leader/stallions daughter but it's reeeally annoying. He always wears the same clothes as me and has the same coloured hair.
"Hi dad." I reply with a tired of sort of voice and mentally roll my eyes.
Just then my best friend walks over, Chestnut, as her name might suggest had chestnut hair and wore chestnut coloured clothes. "Wudup Missy!"
I giggle, she has a way with making anyone laugh.
"Well, let's roll out." She said.
"Yeah," I reply, "let's go."
Outside we morphed into our horse forms, then cantered at an easy pace to the dining hall.
As we entered we were greeted by a commotion of clinking cutlery, chewing and the murmur of many having small talk.
We had shifted back into human form because we prefer the human half, when my mum came up. "Morning Missy." She wasn't anywhere near as annoying as dad.
"Hey Flower!" Chestnut said for me. Flower laughed, Chestnut was really too funny for anyone's good.
Suddenly I catch someone else's eye, Storm! I look away quickly, embarrassed, I don't think anyone knows I like him, I hope.
"Bye Flower." I say quickly, grab Chestnut's arm and speed walk over to the toaster section.
"What's wrong?" She asks, serious for once. "Nothing," I reply, "I'm just really hungry."
She gives me a suspicious look but does nothing except grab two whole grain pieces of toast for herself.
I grab my share (white, I hate whole grain) and head over to the table with my other friends.
Misty wears a dapple grey outfit and has silvery hair, Dawn has the cutest creamy skirt and tank top with hair to match and Crystal has the purest white overcoat and grey hair. "You look even more like your mother today." Chestnut commented to me.
"How come?" I ask.
"Because you look tired and jumpy!" The whole table burst out in laughter as well as the tables in close proximity that heard as well.
Once they finished breakfast they headed out to the training grounds.
