The beat played in my ear as I recited the words in my book.

Sure, I was an old beat, but I was getting it. My manager and best friend, Siani, clapped after I finished. Of course, I'd go back and add a few adlibs, later though. "That was hot! What's the name so I can have Joce start on the cover art?"
"Itty Bitty Piggy. I'll go talk to her real quick, though." I left the recording room to go talk to Jocelynn, my other bestfriend.
"What's good?"
"Oh, Joce, Sisi wanted to give you an update on the cover. I came to help. She'll be here soon. But I wanted to know if you could make a cover for Itty Bitty Piggy?"
"Sure babes," Jocelynn said as she immediately got to work. I let her know that I only wanted something simple. She agreed, and soon showed me the finished product.
