Well, today we celebrated Arbor Day at school..We had to stand out in the front of the school where there was no shade, the sun was just blasting its heat onto everyone there. During that period of time we were out there, my friend Myles had to sit down in the shade from a headache and exhaustion from the heat. He got some sugar ( Cola ) but it didn't help. Then it was my other friend Gracie. She started to cry from a major headache and dizziness she had been feeling. So both Myles and Gracie went to the nurse. One by one, more people were going to the nurse. What happened to me you ask..? I didn't complain, I didn't sit down in the shade. My face was red and I was just suffering from the heat, close to fainting. My teacher finally noticed how I was and practically had to carry me to the nurse. She just kept saying "Don't faint on me Danielle." Over and over again. She gave me a few skittles to keep me awake. When we got to the nurse, there were 10 girls and one boy, all of them I knew. They were in the same grade as me. So Gracie was still crying, Emily ( Friend ) was shaking, Emma ( Friend ) was breathing heavily while using her inhaler, and some other people went to class after they felt better. Me, I just sat there clutching my head as I kept a quiet cry. Apparently I was the closest one to fainting out of everyone there. My mom was called, and some other girls grandma was called, and I went home early from school. My mom had to help me walk and get onto my feet. The reason why there were only people in my grade in the nurses office is because we had recess right before. I learned two things today. A heat stroke is NOT fun, and skittles taste good. xD

Yeah, that's what happened today..
