"Wooohooo, party yeah!"
I move my hips, matching the rhythm of the beating music. The background sound was so loud that it made my heart drum in my chest. The blood on my veins became active, rushing and coursing throughout my body. I felt energized every time I dance. I love dancing to beat. For me, music is like my blood, I can't survive without it.
Suddenly, someone grabbed me by the arm, making me face her. She moved her hips closer to me, and I smiled amusely.
"Hey babe!" She winked, trying to flirt with me as she whispered to my ears. "Wanna dance with me?"
"But we're already dancing, aren't we?" I replied back, leaning to her as well.
The woman smirked. "Not here," she said. "In the bed."
My lips raised even more as I grinned, almost laughing as I shook my head, moving away while matching the rhythm of the music. I was only wearing some simple shirt and pants, but I always seem to attract attention wherever I go. Well, I was popular for being a player and a heartbreaker. Although I'm not really that fond for that kind of nickname, well, I can't really complain nor refute it since it was also the truth. It was a fact; that I, Jacquelyn Umali is a certified, well, not that I'm proud of it that I broke many ladies hearts, but it is what it is.
I smirked, dancing around with girls. Jumping up and down, banging my head back and forth; just enjoying myself here in the club. That's right, baby. This is the life. Wherever the party is, that's where I'll be.
"Hey, Jack! Come over here for a second...!"
I turned to the source of the voice then smiled at my two friends. They are chilling next to the bar counter, smirking at me as they beckoned for me to come over.
Finally, they're here!
I was actually waiting for them to arrive, and that's why I'm dancing with strangers, so I wouldn't get bored.
I beamed, waving at them to wait for me. They waved back, giving me an okay sign. I nodded back, then I turned to the ladies surrounding me in a circle as they sway their hips near me.
I opened my lips to speak, but I had to inhale first, feeling out of breath. So I tried to catch some air, heaving my chest up and down as I felt sweat pouring out from the pores of my skin.
"What's the matter, Jack? Can't dance anymore?" One of the ladies around me asked in a provocative way.
I plastered a rueful smile at them. "Sorry beauties, I'm a bit tired, you guys continue dancing without me," I said, waving at them goodbye.
"Shame," said the woman next to me, sliding down her hands to my biceps with a squinted eye as if reluctant to let go to her prey. "And here I thought I finally have the chance to dance with you..." she leaned forward to my ears, "...alone?"
I shook my head, chuckling. "Sorry, but not today, maybe next time," I mumbled, winking at the lady as I left the dance floor. "See you around baby."
After that, I went to my two friends, waiting for me at the bar counter. The welcomed me with a warm punch in the gut and on the biceps. I took revenge hitting them back. It was nothing serious. We were just messing around with each other. We've always been like this since we were kids. It was something normal for our small circle. I guess we're still all kids in the heart, eh?
"Why are you having fun without us, Jack, huh?!" Rexy said, giving me a glass of cocktail.
I took the glass, drinking it in one go. While, Sabrina, on the other hand, nodded her head in agreements as well to what Rexy said.
