chapter FIVE

Bahja Pov

Its been three hours and we cant find Lauren no where! I've tried calling her phone but it goes straight to voicemail. Lucas over here being a dick head and taking his anger out on everyone, i had to curse his ass out! Rayan finally regain consciousness after hours.

Nolen told him that Zonnique left to go with some nigga from our school. Till this moment, i still cant believe Zonnique and how she acted towards Lauren. It was really surprising. But as of now, we all just came back in from looking for Lauren.

" Did you get in touch with Lauren? " Nolen asked. I shook my head. Lucas signed as he put his head in his hands.

" Sorry for trying to spark flames but Lucas you need to go and find her. Whatever you did to her to make her this upset, you gotta fix it. She's out there lost and pregnant with your baby!! " Breaunna yelled.

" I know, i know i fucked up!! But i was so mad. I was furious. I ain't mean to take it out on her. I ain't even said one word to her!! But last night i asked her if she was ok when she was throwing up but she lied to me and kept the pregnancy from me!! " he shot back.

" I understand that, Lucas. But you cant keep shutting her out. You ARE mad that she didn't tell you about the pregnancy, but when she tries to explain herself you don't wanna listen. Some females can't just come out the blue and be like ' I'm pregnant '. It was probably a lot of pressure on her and she probably thought you'd leave her if you found out "  i said. It was quiet for a minute.

" I wouldn't leave her. We always talked about having kids of our own " Lucas said. I picked up my phone and called her again.

So like, obviously I ain't answer my phone so you gotta leave a message, Bye!!

I growled at annoyance at the fact that she won't answer the phone. I'm so mad right now. She could hurt anywhere. We don't fucking live out here!! So how in the hell she knows where to go?! Out of anger, I stormed out the living room.

Beaunna Pov

I watched as Bahja stormed out the room. Nolen signs and goes after her. Rayan came in and sat down on the couch across from me, Chres, and Lucas.

" Aye Lucas.. look man, I'm sorry " Rayan said. But Lucas didn't say anything.

" We been friends since elementary bro. I'd be damn if I let Zonnique break up our friendship. I soon had realized Zonnique been cheating on me and using me for money. After Nolen told me what happened, she told me how she was plotting to get rid of you and Lauren by causing drama between us " Rayan said. I shook my head. This bitch...

" So we were fighting for nothing and I am sorry, bro. You my bro and our friendship means more then fighting because of some hoe. We cool? " Rayan asked, holding out his fist. Lucas looked up at him then his fist, looking like he was debating. But eventually he bumped his fist against Rayan. Lucas chuckled.

" No hard feelings. Sorry for... you know... putting you to sleep " Lucas said chuckling. I did a small chuckled while Chres laughed.

" Okay, so now that we made up, can we go find Lauren now? " I asked. Everyone nodded and got up. I shot Bahja a quick text saying we was going back out to find Lauren. We walked out the house and got in the car and drove off.

Lauren Pov

I sat at some park. Just watching people walk around. I wiped my tears. It was my fault that I didn't tell Lucas about the pregnancy but I was gonna tell him when I was ready. If I can just get my hands around Zonnique neck and just...( GCO )

" Hey, are you okay? " a voice said behind me, making me jump from my thoughts. I turn around to see some guy. He was handsome. Brown skin. Fade haircut. He looked to be about 5'7. I smiled weakly.

" Yea. I'll be fine " I said, turning around. The guy came around and sat down next to me.

" Wanna talk about it? " he asked with concern. I looked up at him as he stares down at me. I gave him a look. He laughs.

" I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm trying to get in your business. It just a painful sight to see a beautiful girl crying " he said. He sounded so sweet and caring. I tried to hide myself from blushing at the fact that he called me beautiful.

" Well... I had got into a fight with this girl who I thought was my friend. And me and her were going back and forth, just yelling at each other. I don't know how she found out but she blurts out the most important secret I've been keeping from my friends and especially my boyfriend. She tells everyone that I'm pregnant. It caught everyone by surprise " I started, trying not to cry again. The guy nodded for me to continue.

" So, the girl and I were once at each other's throats again and her boyfriend came at mines and things went left. My boyfriend and her boyfriend were fighting. Me and the girl were fighting. It.. it was so chaotic. After the fight, my friends, Bahja and Breaunna and Breaunna's boyfriend, had taken me to the emergency room to check up on the baby and make sure the baby was okay after the fight. Once the doctor told me the baby was okay, we left and head back to the house... "

"...I was so nervous because I knew I had to talk to my boyfriend about it. But I wasn't ready. But that bitch just had to be nosey and tell everybody my secret. When I tried talking to him... he wouldn't even listen to me!! " I said, crying at the end. The guy came closer he and comfort me.

" I kept t-trying to t-tell him why I was holding out on him. But I was s-so afraid he would l-leave me if he found out I was pregnant. He wouldn't even let me explain!! " I cried.

" I'm sorry that happened to you. Please stop crying. I'm sure he's happy to be a father, just mad at the way he found out " the guy said. I nodded with my breathing uneven. I felt like I was bout to have a tantrum.

" Thanks. I should be heading back now. Everyone's probably worried about me " I said as he nodded his head.

" What's your name? " he asked.

" Lauren " I said, lowly. He smiled.

" I'm Jacob " he said. I sent him a small smile.

" Thanks for talking to me " I said getting up from the bench. He got up also.

" No problem " he said with a smile then walked away. I signed as I began to walk away. It wasn't even two days before shit went left. I just hope Lucas can find it in his heart to forgive me.

Long ass update everrrr🙄🙄. Sorry for the wait guys, I was kind of stuck with this chapter. But welcome Jacob into the book as a new character.
