That's Not Okay
Farra's pov
-----------She....likes someone? I knew exactly what she meant but I couldn't mentally process it. "What do you mean? Like you like someone as in friendship?" "No....not exactly."
No....it's a law that gods can't have any relationships that are more than friends. In the past we have lost gods to love.
If a god happens to fall in love with a human, it can effect their work drastically. They won't ever want any bad weather to happen in that persons area. And because we live forever, the god has to watch that human suffer and die without being able to help them. Which, as you can imagine, ruins their lives.
But we have a solution to this. Even though it's a sad solution, we have to eliminate that god from power. That god has their powers removed from them and all their memories wiped. But there's a worse negative to this; that god would die.
Our powers are our complete existence, they make our physical form, personalities, and pretty much everything else. If a god loses their powers it destroys their entire existence.
I couldn't stand to do that to Ash. She's so kind and innocent, why did she have to fall in love with someone?!?
Ash's pov
----------I've never seen a more disappointed face on Farra. I know what happens to gods like me. The scum that let their emotions control their lives. I can't help but like them.
I can't explain it to Farra more, she will be so hurt. No, not just her, EVERYONE will disappointed in me. If they don't remove me from my position, they will kill the person on Earth.
I couldn't stand to live without them, I would mentally shatter.
I just want her to be okay.
