cali here we come

May 23rd, 2020
"guys this is so exciting!!" I said as we all ran to my car and making our way down to the sunny state of California. "I can't believe it, 12 years of school and I made it out alive!" con said. we all just laughed then started blasting music getting hype.

it's 9:00pm, only been 2 hours on the road and we're all exhausted. "hey guys, only 12 hours left!" jesse said trying to hype us up. i decided to put on some good music that will keep us awake.

*10 hours later*
I woke up from the passengers seat and saw we were in California. "GUYS WERE IN CALI!" I said and we all started cheering. "only 2 hours till we get to Malibu" connor said. He was driving, we've been switching off so we all would get a chance to sleep. I decided to look at my phone and myles messaged me.
@yourboymyles: hello kailey, i hope your graduation went good!
@itskaileyy: hey myles, it went great! we're almost to Malibu actually
@yourboymyles: we actually got here a couple hours ago, we took the plane
@itskaileyy: oh how neat! the next few days are gonna be us setting up the apartment
i looked up from my phone and saw a couple signs saying we were getting closer and closer to Malibu, CA. "hey K, who ya texting?" con said which of course he had to say something. "my friend myles, he's moving to Cali too with his brother" I said. jesse and him were smirking like freaks. I just rolled my eyes and continued talking to him.
@yourboymyles: we are actually not to far from Malibu! we will have to meet up sometime when your all settled in :)
@itskaileyy: of course, next week i'm leaving for a graduation trip but when i'm back we can for sure!
@yourboymyles: great! see you in a couple weeks then. I gotta go to the
studio though. i'll talk to you later?
@itskaileyy: yeah, have fun!

I then shut off my phone and soon the car came to a stop. we were in front of our new home. "we are here" con said. we all unbuckled and got out of the car to go check out the apartment.

it was a two story apartment with a perfect view of the ocean, two out of the 4 rooms had a balcony. "I CALL DIBS ON A BALCONY ROOM!" I said running up the stairs and into the room with a balcony. the apartment also had a medium sized kitchen, large living room, and dining room. the back yard had a pool and a pretty nice view of the ocean.

"So who's my next door neighbor?" I said laughing as I walked back down stairs where jesse and connor were. "jesse lost rock, paper, scissors so what's up neighbor!" con said high fiving me. we all just laughed then decided to grab all our stuff from the car.

woo! another chapter done. I'm feeling great about this book :) it's gonna get so much better trust me i'm not gonna let you guys down!
