her caramel skin glowed in the the sunlight
She was waiting
Waiting for the boy who was going to sweep her off her feet
That boy had short blonde hair
Beautiful pale skin
And oceans for eyes
She waited in a field filled with flowers
She heard footsteps behind her
Expecting to see the boy she fell for
She'd saw someone else
He had short brown hair and tan skin
He wore glasses and had a derpy smile
She looked at him
And he looked at her back
She said hi to the stranger and they started a conversation
She started to get butterflies with this boy and didn't understand why
She loved the boy with the ocean eyes
Not this boy she just met
But it felt right talking to him
