Hi, my name is Kindall and my friends name is Courtney and we have to ask you a big question? Do you believe in mermaids? If not, regard this story because that is what we are. We were originally came from Austria but are now living in California because some stupid people saw our tails!
Both of our parents are Neon mermaids, the highest level of the mermaids there is. When they found out who we were we had to leave all of our friends and family. We could not stay there because they had destroyed our home looking for just the two of us, but found every mermaid in the ocean and put them in circuses, now they're extinct.
It is our first week in California and we are now enrolled into Edward Kennedy High school. Us both being sixteen, we were having problems with boys, bitches and stupidity. Kindall was walking to fifth period when a guy named Lansing walks up to her. "Hi my name is Lansing and I can tell you are new. Do you need anything?"
Kindall looked at him with her sparkling eyes as she nods and points him to her desk in the front row. It turns out that he sits right behind her.
Kindall and Courtney had two classes together so far and she was glad she wasn't in this one because, well she didn't know. "Okay class, I have some handouts for your class period, and also we have a new student. This is Kindall." Mrs. Adams says. She calls Kindall up to the center of the classroom. "Hi, my name is Kindall, uh I'm from Australia and use to go to Australia Jr. High. And I am sixteen."
As Kindall quickly sat down in her seat in the front of the room, she felt a poking around her neck area of her body. The fingers were warm, then she turned around to see Lansing wink at her which made her blush. Her first project in her class was for her and a partner to make an verb rap so since Lansing was the only one she knew, he was her partner. "Okay, so what song do you know that has four beats in each measure with a catchy toon?" Lansing says. "Thriller, Thrift shop, what do you think?" Kindall says. He starts to spit out a couple of his own toons making them belch out laughing. "Lansing, Kindall, please calm down" Mrs. Adams says in a serious tone. They both muffled their laughs but had lots of trouble.
The class period was now over and it had gone so fast. As we hugged and walked down the hallway I walked into a little bit of trouble. "Excuse me, but why are you hugging my boyfriend!" Kindall turned around to see blonde, skinny girl with damaged hair compared to Kindall silky brown hair. "Um I'm so sorry I didn't know!" Kindall said pulling away from Lansing quickly but turned around one last time to see Lansing watching her sadly, but then he quickly smiles. Looking confused, she walks into her sixth period.
