The past

                         PREFACE

    My name is Ellie Winter, I have beautiful blue eyes, my natural hair color is a dirty blonde but I usually die it a goldish color. And this is my story.

                           CHAPTER 1

"Ellie get me the sugar so I can make your brothers a snack!" my mom yelled to me. "I am coming!" I said. "Thank god I'm going to be out of here tomorrow." I whispered under my breath.

  After I went back up to my room I signed into secret talk. I wanted to talk to my "Boyfriend" the reason for the quotes is because we don't even know each other but I love him and he loves me. Tomorrow I was leaving for college and he was going to the same one so we could finally meet.

All the sudden I heard the door close. Shit! My step dad was home. "ELLIE GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" I heard him yell.

I ran down stairs "Ya." I said. "I see you didn't do all your chores!" he yelled then slapped me. "Sorry I was helping mom all day." I said. "Oh so just because you were helping mom means you don't need to do your goddamn chores!" He said this time punching me in the stomach. "I'm sorry I'll do them right now." I said whimpering in pain. "Fuck what's the point! Get to the beating room. NOW!" he said. The beating room was a concrete room with pillows all around the walls and ceiling so no screams would get through. I walked into the beating room and just stared at the blood mark. It was my older brothers blood mark it was his last few seconds in there before my step dad beat him to death.

                       CHAPTER 2

I started to cry when I felt a warm hand push me down. "Maybe this will make you listen." The step monster said with a crowbar in his hand. He started hitting me in the head, about the 6th hit to my head everything went black and cold. Was I dead? All the sudden I saw someone walking towards me, it was all black, he got closer but when he was about half way to me he bent down. He had a knife in his hand I looked over and saw this girl sitting there whimpering then he started stabbing her, blood was going all over the place then every thing turned white. I saw the girl again but she was hung blood was dripping from all over her body. The guy started walking towards me, then I realized who it was.

I woke up screaming and a nurse ran through the door "Shh your okay. Calm down sweety." She said soothingly. "You fell pretty hard down those stairs!" She said looking at the bruises all over my body. "Um thanks but I feel fine can I leave soon." I asked. "Your mom is filling out the papers then you can go home." She said. "Okay." I said.

    "Do not mention me taking you to the hospital to your father he might hurt you more!" my mom told me. "He isn't, and never will be my father. He's a worthless piece of -" I got cut off by my mom slapping me. "Do not ever talk about your father like that again!" she yelled at me as we got to the house. "My father is dead! You bitch!" I yelled and ran up to my room. I needed to talk to Charming.

                        CHAPTER 3

He beat you and your mother calls him your father! Please that is no father that's evil with a human face! ~Charming

Ya well I'm leaving tomorrow and never coming back! ~Cinderella

"El!!" My mom yelled for me. As I walked past my mirror I saw a couple bruises over my face. Ya way to look beautiful! I thought to myself. I went downstairs. She looked at me with a gross look. I heard he say "Why an ugly daughter?" Well the award for nicest mom goes to her! "What do you want?" I asked her. "Tomorrow your leaving and I'm going to miss you. Now I know we've had a terrible few years but I want you to know I love you." She said. "You love me! Fuck that must mean that its opposite day I mean why would you let me get beat! Why would you not of saved Eric!" I screamed feeling the warm tears stream down my face. "How dare you mention him." she said with a discusted look on her face. "Fuck you!" I screamed at her. I ran up to my room and locked the door.

                     CHAPTER 4

I woke up from the sound of screaming. Of course my little brother would be awake. I grabbed the last of my bags and put them in my yellow bug. When I walked back in my mom and step-dad

were on the couch. "Hey sweety!" my dad said. "What do you want!?" I sneered at him.  "Well since your leaving we just wanted to tell you goodbye." he said smiling. "Bye." I said. "Before you leave I have a present for you downstairs." he said smiling an evil smile. I don't know why I went but I headed downstairs. He grabbed me by the neck and threw me into the beating room. "Before you leave I'm going to make you more ugly so that stupid boy you've been talking to leaves you alone and so maybe you'll do something that makes us all happy!" he said. "How the hell do you know about Charming!?" I screamed in his face. "Please you think we dont go through your stuff when your gone!" he screamed back and punched me. I fell on the floor and he tried to hit me again but I kicked him in the balls and ran out.

                       CHAPTER 5

*Flashback*

    "Mommy, why did you get married with out telling us?" Eric and I asked. "Because my lovelies it was love at first sight." She said on a cooing voice."So when's he going to get he-" I got cut off by someone knocking. "Children meet your new step dad!" my mom said as he walked through the door.
