As Minseok left the bathroom, Luhan was sewing a shirt. “Why do you keep sewing?”

Luhan paused. “Your mother told me to learn it.” the answer was sharp but Luhan seemed calm. Awkward, Minseok wore his clothes, knowing Luhan wouldn’t dare look at him naked as he heard the shift of tissues. “Do you have somewhere to go today?”

“I have to fetch today lectures from a fellow classmate.” Minseok said as he zipped his pants. He glanced over Luhan who was still sewing. “Do you want to join me? Today is a bit cloudy and the parking lot is underground.” Luhan stopped and stood to fetch clothes.

“I will be ready in a minute”Minseok fixed his clothes when his uncle showed up with a paper.

“You broke a clause of the contract! The blood sucking scum was to not be fed.” the old man slapped him all of sudden. “How can you be stupid?”

“I wouldn’t have to if someone didn’t try to kill him.” Minseok brushed it off as he fixed his jacket. “It wasn’t as I fed him. I tried to save his life.” he paused and looked at the old man who seemed ready to kick Minseok to oblivion. “Does breaking a clause of the contract make Luhan free?”

The old man smirked. “Does that scare you?” the man fisted his shirt. “Yes, it nullify the five million dollars contract.”

Five million dollars? Luhan was that expensive? Why?

Luhan showed up and fast made himself in the middle of the two, glaring deadly at the old man. “Luhan… calm down.” Luhan glared at Minseok. “Uncle came to tell that by giving you blood I nullified your contract and that you are now free.” Luhan didn’t seem to react as he observed Minseok’s cheek when he smirked.

“Good news for me.” He said suddenly. “As I am free I guess I can decide to stay or leave this household.” Minseok felt like he was going to vomit at the words. “Is that so?” Luhan blinked at how pale Minseok looked and as the man nodded, he held his hand. “Let us fetch those lecture, Minseok.”

They walked past the shocked man. Minseok was shocked too but as he felt uncomfortable, he remained silent. “Do you want to leave?”

Luhan remained silent for so long Minseok, who sat in the driver seat, sighed deeply. “I will not leave without you.” it made Minseok blush but he remained silent. “However, I may not be able to stay in that mansion. I can no longer tolerate your family and I know you can’t neither.”

“I don’t have a choice.” Minseok growled. “I can not survive alone without an Alpha. I also have a title to respect in the society.” Luhan scoffed and looked at Minseok.

“You never cared about that title, Minseok.” Luhan said as a matter of fact as Minseok looked at him, shocked. “Why aren’t you the pack’s Alpha? It make no sense to me. You are the eldest…” Luhan had a moment of realization and the man who was about to snap at him froze. Luhan looked at him with astonished eyes.

“Why do you look at me with such eyes? Do you know something?” Luhan looked away as his feelings became uncontainable. He tried to stop his tears but as Minseok touched him, it was too late. Minseok didn’t need a translator. “What do you know? Tell me!”

“You can not shift into a wolf!” luhan yelled as a sob left his lips. “This is why she asked me to learn how to protect you… she had little faith on a kid who could never shift because he may not have a wolf.” Luhan hide his face behind his palms as he let out a shaken breath. “This is why you went through all of that. This is why you are the outcast of the family.” he looked at Livid Minseok who had stopped his car fortunately in an empty spot of the parking lot. They remained silent as Minseok’s expression shifted to pain.

“Sehun bragged about it, did he?” Minseok bitterly spoke while Luhan shook his head. “Don’t lie.”

“You did.” the words left Luhan lips before he could control it. He froze to think. “You told me everything.” Luhan looked over Minseok who recalled falling drunk in Luhan arms, which he felt ashamed of doing. He felt ashamed of himself… he didn’t handle the emotions that took over him by then as he left the car, leaving Luhan in it. “I am sorry” the vampire mumbled as he sobbed. “I am sorry I couldn’t tell you the full truth.”

He managed to reach Minseok before the man could step in the elevator.

“You are not forced to stay with me if I shame you.” Minseok said darkly when he was suddenly slammed to the wall. His yelp of pain was shushed as lips took his and his insides exploded in tiny bubbles. As the elevator’s doors opened, Luhan stepped back and looked away as people got in. Minseok managed to click on the level’s button and made himself small as he observed the vampire biting his lower lip nervously.

Did I imagine it? Fuck, I feel so weird.

Minseok tentatively tried to touch Luhan’s wrist when Luhan held his hand. It made him jump and blush. “I am sorry.” Luhan said as they remained alone after a level. “I am sorry to be like this after what you had told me.” Minseok paled as Luhan pulled him to a hug. “I just… you mean so much to me, Kim Minseok.”

Minseok blushed a little. “I do?” Luhan nodded in his position and Minseok smiled. “Then you are forgiven. After all, I expected people to … hate me after what happened.”

Luhan gave him a confused expression. “Why would someone hate you for being outcasted by your family for not being an Alpha or for being raped? You are the victim, here.” Minseok looked like he got stabbed and Luhan paused before gasping in horror. “Oh dear…” Minseok ran off as soon as the elevator’s doors opened. “Minseok!”

Luhan knew he did hurt Minseok deeply and he wished he had learn how to control his tongue.
