It all being in the year 3131, my planet was in a galaxy called obduran. Corky name for a galaxy if you ask me. But I lived on a small planet that has three moons and two suns. Our nights lasted for days and our days lasted months but we became accustomed to it. It was as if the life we had was little and meaningless. We lived in a place called the compound. It covers about 75% of our planet and protects us from the raging suns as they go up in orbit. And it's suppose to protect us from the Carnige.  A group of alien beings that wish to enslave us and make us work as sex slaves. Something we will never submit to. Well I would never submit to. And as our days move forward so did the war against my people.

It all being in Dulan, which I learn in school is one of our months in which the suns are out for their longest time, meaning 56 days. I know hot right. Well anyway, me and my best friend Khloe were in what I would call our assigned apartment or living facility. We live close to the escape pods and that makes everything better in a way. But we were sitting around talking when the first blast occurred. We stopped our conversation to check if we heard correctly the blast and I guess we did in a way. Because not even thirty seconds later the projection of our leader came up.
"Warning. Ladies and Gentlemen this is not a drill. It's a code red. Please get dressed in proper gear. Grab any emergency supplies and food and pack them into bags. In a calm manner please head towards the hanger bay in which the escape pods are located. We are under attack by the Carnige and anyone that want to leave needs to get moving. This may be your last time seeing me and my last word to you is that I hope I have done wel........." the connection was cut off.
Khloe and me were already in motion. We started with our gear. It's simple combat like equipment. Black pants, tight undershirt, gun holsters for our laser pistols, sword sheath and sword, and dagger compartments. For those little blades. Khloe and I are both in the military recruitment program but when war breaks we are not required to fight. It more of they need us with those who can't than those who can. We grab our prepacked bags of food and emergency supplies.
In those moments our world went from normal to chaos. As we boarded one the the escape pods with a couple of people that live near us. As we closed the doors and ready for take off we heard another blast and as we moved we saw destruction. They destroyed our home with no set backs and with out a care in the galaxy. It was as if they have no heart for all the people we are losing. We left while seeing our planet go down in destruction. 

As the pod moved along with the pre determined cooridantes, we where off to see the place that we would now call home. Within five minutes we jumped into hyper drive mode and were off. The monitors read The Milky Way and a planet that was in their system that had a breathable atomsphere. It says we would reach there within five days. Meaning it will only take us about three in total. While Khloe was checking on our passengers that stashed along inside of our pod. I decided to check our systems and get a feel of the pod. It was not the size of our normal fleet ship, but it was big enough to hold two or three bedrooms with connected bathrooms. There was a food asimulator and a small shoot for spoiled food. The place was livable but to know if we would have the space to be combat ready was the question. I searched for weapons or papers or documents of some kind but came up empty. I ended up going back to the main bridge to keep track of our path and stability. 

"Sasha, we have in total about 9 people with us. Two are an older couple in their late 50s. there are in total 2 teenage boys and the rest are younger kids with no training and have not had any other interactions with people besides their teachers and themselves. What are we going to do? Eleven people in all and we don't even know what kind of place we will be going to." Khloe said. 

"I'll check the computer to be sure that we don't end up on some crazed killer planet. Please be sure to take down their names that way I can put us some documentation together once i know what kind will be needed. Also we will need weapons and other gadgets may you check around the parts of the pod that I did not get a chance to check. Please and thank you Khloe and La Vie." I said to Khloe. I watched her leave and check on the others. We were making good timing and that was great. I started with searching the planet that we were traveling too. 

Learning that the name of the planet was called Earth. It has over 9 billion inhabitants and over 9 to ten different types of government. I like only three of them and one was in the place called The United States of America. They had a presidential system and different types of small body government systems. I checked out each state and decided that we would be better off in a smaller town or city. There was one state that was perfect for us. It was called Florida. There was a small town called Springhill. It was a small town surrounded by trees and that was a great touch down place for us. 

I looked up what kind of documents we would need and there where quite a few that we would need. I sent Khloe a message that she needed to send me the names of the other nine people that where on board with us.
