Today we called my dad again. He is not doing very good though, I wish I could go see him but he is currently in the infirmary. I remember (before he was in jail) when we would go outside and play, he would always tell me that he will never leave without saying goodbye, he would never leave without " I love you", and never leave or go to sleep mad or upset. This has helped me get through being angry at someone because if I was I could always apologize at the end of the night or if I was leaving I wouldn't do it mad or without saying goodbye or I love you. Me and my dad were insepereble before he was gone. I guess the "lesson" is that you should never leave without saying goodbye.
