Sunrise goes to sleep and then wakes up the next day. Nightmoon has aged very well. Sunrise lived longer than she expected but today was the last day she would see Nightmoon. Nightmoon and her talked as Sunrise says to her "My dear Nighty, tonight I think I will be leaving you forever." Nightmoon cryingly says "I'm going to miss you mom." They hug each other and then Sunrise closes her eyes. Nightmoon lays her down and thinks of what to do next "I guess I got to try to live my life on my own now. Well, if I'm going to do it, then I might as well start now." And she packs everything she can and walks away after looking at her mom one more time.
