Chapter 2

Soo Ho's prov
I was walking down an alley way when I heard two voices,"There he is,Get him!" I turned around and saw a man pointing his finger towards me, four men showed up and I decided that I should run I turned around and blacked out. I woke up seeing ropes around me tightly, my back against a wooden post, I looked up and saw my father and another man,"F-Father, what's going on, why am I here?" My eyes widened when I saw the stranger give my father a big bag, my father then looked in it smiling then put it away,"Goodbye Soo Ho, be good to your master." he said walking off and out of sight. I teared up and looked at the man who smiled at me evilly, I shivered in fear,"W-what are you going to do with me?" I asked struggling a bit hopefully making the ropes a bit undone so could free myself. The man quickly ran over and punched me in the face then took out a small blade, he held it against my face,"Let's make you look like a slave." he smiled as he put the blade up to my face,"No,please no." I started to cry.
Sooyeon's prov
I frowned Soo Ho was still unconscious and father had left the house after he had knocked out Soo Ho, I walked in and picked up Soo Ho and laid him down on his bed, I then left to get some medical supplies. Once I returned I started cleaning Soo Ho's wounds then I patched the wounds up. I wished my father wouldn't hurt Soo Ho like this but I know if I was to say anything to my father about it he would beat me too and it looks like Soo Ho is really trying to prevent it from happening. Finally when I had gotten up from Soo Ho's bed I heard him whimpering and crying in his sleep. I started to panic and grabbed Soo Ho's shoulder and shook it violently,"Soo Ho!" I yelled waking him up, I hugged him tightly while he hid his face into my shoulder and cried,"Soo Ho why do you let him treat you like that?" I asked making him stop crying,"I'm going into town." he got up and left me alone in his room, I need to talk to someone about this but I doubt Soo Ho would want me to.

I left the house and walked into town, I went back to the stand I was at before, I smiled remembering that it was the first place I met Soo Ho, he seemed nice and I wanted to get to know him better but I knew my uncle and Ban Ryu would disapprove. I looked around and saw Soo Ho, I walked over to him but once I got closer to him I noticed he had a small bruise on his cheek, "Hi Soo Ho." he looked at me smiling, I looked in his eyes and saw that he had been crying, I took his hand and walked into an alley making him follow me,"Soo Ho, what's wrong, why were you crying and don't say it's nothing." His eyes were widened and I just stood there with my arms crossed waiting for an answer. "(y_n), I just fell and had a piece of wood stuck in my foot, but I'm fine now that I got it out." I nodded, I didn't feel like that was the real reason but I decided to be quiet about it,"Want to go get some tea, I know of this tea shop close by ." I nodded,"Just as friends though, I know how you are." I nudged his arm with my elbow making him smile, he took my hand looking at me in the eyes, I pulled my hand away,"I can walk by myself, just lead the way." I smirked making him frown, and walk off, I followed after him,"Hey stop frowning, it doesn't look good on you." I said walking next to him. Soo Ho stopped and looked at me,"You're different than the other girls I've met, you're the first one that didn't look at me with love in their eyes or didn't let me hold their hand as I walked with them." I smirked,"Stop making it seem weird, like I said we're just friends, now can we just get some tea like we're planning to?"I said suddenly hearing my cousin's voice close by, my eyes widened, I need a place to hide, I looked around dragged Soo Ho into a abandoned barn and found a nice place to hide in the corner, it was dark so it was the perfect place to hide, I ran over dragging Soo Ho and crouched down making Soo Ho do the same,"What's wrong?" Soo Ho said in a whisper while looking around,"I thought I heard Ban Ryu's voice, I'm dead if he finds me and sees me with you." I whispered  my voice a bit shakey.
