Teddy was disturbed from her project by VA, an experiment that was a cross breed of cat and dog that stood on its hind legs, along with a computer screen for a face. "Teddy, there's crying coming from the side of the building, it sounds like a child." VA played a worried face, full of concern. His fur turned a slight blue. Teddy sighed, with a caring heart, stood up and went to the side door, ready to encounter whoever was out there. Not to mention it was raining, and the storm was picking up. Whoever it was, she didn't want them to catch a cold. Looking outside, she saw a faint silhouette of a small child. VA gasped, and ran up to them, picking them up with gentle arms and brought them inside. The child seemed to be a girl, with their hood covering their head. Her legs were covered in bruises and cuts, most likely caused by another human being. VA ran off to retrieve a First-Aid kit to help with the wounds. Teddy took her from VA's arms and held her close. "H-hey are you ok?" She asked in the sweetest tone she could muster. Teddy could get a better look of the young child's face, it was stained in tears. She looked up to her and shook her head, on the verge of tears again. "Do you need something to eat, new clothes, anything to help?" The child nodded her head, about to pass out from exhaustion. Teddy took her to the guest bedroom, and set her down on the bed. VA came in with the medical kit. He tended to her wounds, and watched over her whilst she slept.
And this is where the story started.
