Long ago, on an island somewhere in the great Pacific Ocean lay a small kingdom. A kingdom with hidden secrets, kept away from all who are born off the island. A teenager by the name of Swarm approaches the castle that lie on a hill overlooking the large kingdom.
"Halt!" Yells a guard near the entry gates, "who goes there!" Swarm takes a few more steps before stopping only a few strides from the gate. Another guard pipes up, "he asked you a question you little runt! Answer him!"
"I am Swarm," he said in a cool tone, "now let me pass."
The guard to the right smirked, "I'm afraid it doesn't work that way."
"I didn't ask if I could pass, that was a command," said swarm, grinning and not looking at either of the guards. Both of them stared at him, spears raised.
"Get out of here kid, this isn't a playground," said the left guard, taking a step towards Swarm.
Swarm tilted his head back in a eerie laugh. "A playground? How old do I look to you?" He smirked and continued walking towards the gate, kicking some dust up with every step. The guards rushed at him and seized his arms.
He smirked, "I would let go if I were you."
"Yea? And what would make us do that?" Said the guard holding swarms right arm as they pushed him away from the gates.
Swarm chuckled. "I don't think you want me to answer that, do you?" The guard looked around mockingly, only to notice the other guard on the ground clutching his head.
"What did you do!" He yelled, pointing his spear to Swarms chest. Without warning, the guard was covered by a dark figure and began to choke. Gags and coughs came from inside the figure, but nothing more than a muffled scream for help exited before the guard fell to the side. The figure had gone, which left Swarm standing there. He stepped over the now dead body and proceeded to the gates.
"That took longer than expected," said a small voice in swarms head.
"Yea well, if the two idiots would of listened it would of been easier," mumbled Swarm. The gates opened as soon as he stepped foot in front of them, a small black cloud left the gates hinges as they fell off. Swarm walked past them slowly, then strode off through the court yard towards the giant doors.
"You there! Halt!" Yelled a booming somewhere voice behind him.
Swarm moaned in annoyance. "Is that all you guys can say?" Swarm glanced over his shoulder to see a guard advancing towards him. Shadows crept out from under Swarm, making the guard stop in his tracks.
Swarm tilted his head back and gave a ear piercing laugh. "I advise you to stay away!" He continues on to the doors, guards watching him in horror. Three guards rushed at him, only to fall into the shadowy abyss around him. The shadows covered the doorway until it gave way, large pieces of wood that once made up the door fell to the ground.
"Who goes there?!" Yelled a voice in the distance.
Everything in the hallway turned dark, no one dared move. "I am Swarm, leader of the Dedix and I am here to speak with the king!"
