Puppet show

Guidance

As I was reminiscing in my cage I heard something, it sounded like footsteps that were gradually getting closer until I saw a woman; her black hair was tied into a bun and she was wearing a black kimono, she signalled for me to come towards her "why are you here? Who are you?" She didn't speak so I asked her again then she sighed "I'm Lilith, I'm here to rescue everyone" at first I didn't believe her but then she unlocked the cage, grabbed my hand and ran down the hall with me.

We ran into a storage room "do you have a plan for us to escape?" I asked Lilith, she nodded "phew thank god, I'm sick of hidin' in this goddamn room" a voice behind us shouted then a few boxes fell and I recognised that it was my best friend, Fletcher "been lookin' forward to usin' this" she laughed as she pulled out a butterfly knife..... crazy old Fletcher.

"So what's your plan" I asked as I turned to Lilith, she signalled to a vent in the corner of the room and made us climb into it but as she was about to climb in too the puppeteer kicked the door open "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING" he screamed; Lilith climbed down and stabbed him with a dagger that she'd hidden in her obi then she climbed up with us and we continued making our way through the vents "so where the hell will this take us?" Fletcher asked, Lilith stopped and showed us the map; she pointed to the factory "but what if we get caught" she nodded but didn't say a word.

We got into the factory room and saw dolls being produced all young girls screaming and crying "HEY!" One of the factory workers shouted and ran towards us, Lilith ran off to shut down the machine while Fletcher and I held onto our weapons; Fletcher made a lethal cut into his arm before he called his workers, she smiled and laughed "here we go!" She screamed, I ran at one of them and used the needles to inject one of them with cyanide and kicked another in the face.

Once they were all down we ran over to Lilith who stopped the machine and was grabbing the girls off the conveyor belt "where to next" I asked Lilith, she threw us the map "there's the exit, so it's not far to go, guessin' the workers couldn't be bothered walkin' any further" Fletcher sighed.

When all of the puppets were off the conveyor belt, we heard a sound behind us and quickly ran from it.... what could it be.
