'Y/n?' Your science teacher called before you left, 'Yes Miss Handley?' 'Don't get distracted at that party that your going to tomorrow, be sensible.' She pleaded. 'I wont Miss, there is nothing to worry about, I'll be fine,' You giggled, 'bye Miss have a good weekend!' 'Be careful y/n, have a good time!' She said as you opened the door to leave the classroom. You walked down the corridor and turned left to walk past the main hall thinking about Miss Handley. Many peopke find it strange that you were close to a teacher but you found it comforting to think that there was always someone looking out for you where you spent most of your time.
You turned right at the bottom of the corridor and walked out ofg the foyer into the fresh air and nearly blinding sunlight. 'Y/n! Y/n! Y/n!' Your best friend, y/f/n, shouted as she sped over to your side, 'There you are! I was waiting for you, you didn't forget I was sleeping over did you?' 'How could I forget? What time is your mum dropping your stuff off at mine?' 'Seven.' 'Okay well we better get walking properly otherwise we'll be here forever' you laughed

You poured some water out for both of you while y/f/n put a movie on for the two of you to watch. 'Are you ready?' She asked sitting down on the bed with a blanket over her. 'For what?' Yoh were confused. 'The party, I know it's only a family party but they are like, really rich and anything could happen!' 'I highly doubt it, it's not as if anyone special is going to be there, is there?' 'Well you never know do you?' You both sat in silence for a while. A notification appeared on your phone, you just ignored it. Then another appeared. You rolled your eyes, the bright screen illuminating the dark room you were both sat it, 'who is it?' Y/f/n said excitedly.
"Hope you have a good time at that party or whatever tomorrow"
"Dont forget about me too much :) x"
You both sat there in delight of the situation wondering what to answer back with.
"Thank you, I will do and dont worry I wont forget ;) x"
'He sooo likes you' y/f/n joked. 'Yeah, definitely that's why he's saying he's going out with Charlotte, plus he isn't Shawn Mendes is he? So I'd say no either way' you laughed popping another sweet in your mouth continuing to watvh the movie.
