When I was an elementary student, there was a time when I got curious about the life of former presidents of the Philippines. In a way that, I am thinking about what kind of world they have inside the Malacañang Palace.
How busy they are, what kind of family does a president have. Is he/she wearing an expensive formal outfit always. If there are guards everytime she/he will going to anywhere. So many unanswerable questions on my mind.
Time flies so past. All of a sudden, I become the first lady. Oh my God. Yes! I am the wife of President Estranghero Lalouch. *DreamCameTrue* I think that is my destiny, to be a wife of president. At first, my family is very happy because he won. We live in Malacañang Palace with the twins wherein, we always wear a very formal attire. My husband become busy to his responsibility and obligation being the leader of a country. He don't have an enough time to have a bonding with me and to the twins.I missed the life we have when he is not a president before. We are happy even our house is simply like an ordinary people. We are together when we eat dinner, talking about the issues happening in the environment. Laugh with the jokes from my loving husband. The way we hug and say how much we love each other.
One night after we make love. Yes. After sex I talk to him.
Me: MyLove, How are you? I missed the old us. Anyways, what's new with the Death Penalty? Pres: I miss you. How 'bout the twins? I really missed them. (He kiss me on my forehead) I love you. About the death penalty? Uhm...
Me: They are doing good. Actually, the twins are busy in their school work. They have a swimming lesson with their cousins. Death penalty *Sigh*
And he stare at me.
Pres: Why? (He cuddle me)
Me: To be honest, I am against with your decision.
Pres: MyLove, in my own perspective that is the right thing to do in order to discipline our fellowmen.
Me: But...
Pres: But what?
Me: You and your officials have no right to give that kind of penalty to the person whom make a mistake.
Pres: That they must deserve a second chance? That I am not a God to kill a person. That government should give them another chance to change their bad behavior? Isn't it?
Me: Yeah. I am sad when I hear the news that the officials pushing it to become a law or bill again.
Pres: I know what your point is. I also believe in Divine Theory, that we people is made by God. We just barrow it to Him. Indeed, that I don't have the rights to kill someone. But, in able to discipline the people they must afraid what kind of sanctions they may have if ever they done something against the our law.
Me: Indeed. But.. Ugh. May the Lord guide you and your senators to decide what is the right decision. He hug me. And look at my face.
Pres: Love, let me do what is the right things to be done. I am the president, and my mission and goal is t give my people a peace and order. I do really love you. And I understand your ideas. Thank you for opening that kind of issue.
I hug him tightly.
Me: I am very proud of you. Always use your heart and mind everytime you need to decide on something. Be reaponsible enough. Love our country. Stay humble and be good with other people.
Pres: Thank you Love.
Me: Time to sleep. You need to wake up early because you have a flight tomorrow morning.
Pres: Okay My Love. Let's sleep. Good night. I love you so much.
Me: I love you too. Sleep well.
Being wife of the president is not an easy task. You need to understand the situation, you need to encouraged him. Need to guide him in what decisions to make. Give him some advise in order to help him to balance every situation.
