Riley's POV
I was rudely awoken by screaming that sounded awfully like Cole.
I mentally smirked. I wonder why...
There had been lots of screaming ever since Dennis came back from his mission last night.
Since he couldn't find Sir Dennis, he slept in Lucy's room and made sure no one could steal her away from him. She was beaming with happiness when he said he had to sleep with her, but Cole refused to let Dennis sleep in the same room as Lucy and he started a fight. Stupid. I know.
When Justin went into his room last night, he came out close to tears, telling us that his baby (the mirror) has been stolen. When I asked him why he didn't bring it with him, he snapped at me and I quote, "I can't afford to break such a delicate piece of equipment." He had always cared about his appearance.
Ben has not noticed that his gun is missing. Wait until he goes to the shooting range...
Lucy suddenly burst into my room holding a bunch of makeup kits. She was all dressed up for school. From cut up jeans to a crop top. She'd straightened her chocolate colored hair to perfection.
She stared at me wide eyed. "Girl", She started, "You are still in bed?!" I blinked at her sudden screeching.
She took the corner of my blanket and yanked it off. Cold air instantly tackled me, leaving me shivering.
"Up! Get up!" She barked. "There is so much I have to do! Your hair, makeup, clothes!"
I blinked again, "Wait. What?"
She started to rummage in my closet. "Where are your skirts?" Her voice was muffled from all the clothes.
"I don't have any." I shrugged.
"What?!" Lucy glared at me. "How could you not have a single skirt?"
Before I had time to answer, she rushed out of my room. I sat there like the awkward person. I was. My door banged open again, making me jump. Lucy came in with a bunch of skirts hanging off her arms.
She looked from the skirts to me. Then she laid them down on my bed and started going through them.
"No. Ew. No. Ugh. Perfect." She held up a pink skirt.
"Go try this on, Riley." She handed me the skirt and a gray crop top. She pushed me into the bathroom.
"Hey I need my underwear." I said. The door opened again and my underwear came flying in.
I stripped down my pajamas and entered the shower. I took my time showering so that I could think. I never said it out loud, but I have been thinking about Ashton a lot. I've been mentally preparing myself for rejection.
I stepped out of the shower and dried myself. Then I threw on my underwear before pulling on the crop top and skirt.
The crop top barely covered my belly button and the pink skirt flowed just above my knees. The pair of flats were gray and had little white bows on the front.
I walked out of my bathroom and Lucy let out an excited squeal. "You, my dear, are going to make that Ashton boy drool!" She said slyly.
I blushed, "I'm not trying to impress anyone."
Lucy winked and sang, "Whatever you say."
"I'm not!" I exclaimed. She just let out an evil chuckle.
Then she pulled out the chair of my vanity desk, where all her makeup kits were. "Sit down", She ordered.
I sat down and she attacked my hair and face. She straightened my hair and applied my makeup lightly.
When she finally got out of my face, I opened my eyes and saw a different person staring at me. My blue eyes looked bigger and my lips had a thin layer of lip gloss, making them look inviting.
