Chapter 2 Annabeth

'What's this feeling? It feels like someone's watching me, but it also feels like my brain is mush.'

My eyes snap open. I'm not on the ship anymore. Huge pink clouds float in a yellow sky. Rainbow trees are spread across the land.

The grass was like dove feathers and mirrors floated everywhere. I walked over to one of the mirrors.

My hair was neatly brushed and in a braid down my back. My eyes had changed to a light blue that looked close to grey in the light. My cheeks were a rosey red and my lips were shiny and pink.

I turned away from the mirror and started walking across the hills. Soon a rainbow wall was in my way.

"What gives?" I asked out loud.

'Yes, Demigod, what gives?' a voice said.

"Who's there?!" I pulled out my dagger and looked around. No one was there.

'Calm, demigod. I am not your enemy.'

"Sure you are!" I yelled.

'I am not. Now, if you accept the power, you can leave.'

"What power?" I asked.

'It is not for me to tell you. You must find out for yourself. Now, if you want to join your boyfriend, accept the power.'

I thought it over. I really wanted to see Percy. I sighed.

"Fine, I accept."

'Good, now, you can leave.'

The rainbow wall disappeared. I ran.
