JaKory POV

"Ma, do you know where my basketball bag is?" I yelled as I jogged down the stairs. My mom came from around the corner carrying my baby sister, Tia.

"Ask your father, I don't know where you put it honey." She said. I took Tia out of her arms because she started whining for me. "Where are you heading to anyways?" She asked.

"I'm about to go ball up with Chris and the guys." I said.

"Did you finish your homework? Did you talk to your trainer? He called me and wants to meet about the offers you've received from schools." She said. I sighed and shook my head.

"I did my work and I know mom. I'm gonna see him tomorrow." I said. Tia rested her head on my shoulder and held on tightly to my shirt. I know she's gonna fall asleep.

"Ok, let me know. Are you driving to the center? I think your dad is down there." She said. I nodded and spotted my bag next to the hallway closet. I walked over and picked it up with my free hand.

"Yeah I'm driving. I'm gonna take Tia and Nasir with me." I said. I already had their seats in my car from the last time I took them out so I didn't have to put them in.

"Nasir, where you at kid?" I yelled as I walked towards the play room. I'm certain he's there recking something.

"Brother!" He came running out. He went to jump on me but stopped when he saw Tia sleeping in my arms. "Shhh. Baby's sleeping." He told me.

"You wanna go ball up?" I asked. His eyes lit up and he nodded. Nasir is three years old now and he loves anything that lets him be active. He has a lot of energy.

"Go get me your shoes kid." I said.

I walked to Tia's downstairs nursery and I placed her on her changing table. I skipped on her pair of slip on vans and I put on her zip up sweatshirt to keep her warm. She just stayed sleeping with her bottom lip sticking out. My little siblings are like my kids for real. I actually don't mind taking care of them when asked because we just be cooling and Tia is like a little princess.

"Here." Nasir came walking into the room and held out his sneakers to me.

"Give me your foot." I said. I put his sneakers on for him and made sure he had on a hoodie.

"aight lets go lil man."

"Looking like somebodies daddy." Chris joked when I walked onto the court. "My man, you ready to play?" Chris high fived Nasir.

"You know how Tia be. She gonna look for me when she wakes up as usual. I might as well bring her. And Nasir needa burn off some energy." I said. "Let me take her to my dad real quick." I said.

I walked to my dads office with Tia in my arms, still fast asleep. I walked into my dads office while he was having a conversation with my uncle Ty.

"Hey pops. Wassup Unc." I greeted.

"Hey kid. Hey princess." My dad took Tia from me.

"Crazy how she looks like princess for real." Ty laughed. It's true, for a one year old, Tia embodies all aspect of someone who acts like a princess.

"Ok I'm gonna go ball up now. I brought Nas with me. He's gonna be at the court with me." I said. They both nodded and I left out.

When I went back to the court, I spotted Nasir sitting on my girlfriends lap playing a game on her phone. I ain't even know she was gonna come this way when she asked me what I'm doing.
