Brookely's POV

"Hey Mom, can I get a ride to school today I don't want to ride the bus?" I asked walking down the stairs.
I didn't know that, that one question would change everything.
"Yes of course get in the car I don't want to be late." My mom yelled. I grabbed an apple as I headed to her Tahoe. I got in the car and turned on the radio. Yes, my favorite song at the moment "young, dumb, and broke." "What's fun about commitment? When we have our lives to live?" I sang then my mom  got in the Tahoe. "What are you listening to now?" My mom said as she pulled out of the driveway. "Good music of course, mom" I said jokingly while rolling my eyes. I listened to music the rest of the time. After a few minutes I approached hell *cough* I mean school of course. "Bye mom see you after school!" I said while grabbing my things. "Bye honey have a good day!" She yelled as I left. I walked into the front doors and passed the front office. And that's when it began.
That's when my life changed.
I saw two boys I haven't seen before. To be honest I've seen about every sophomore boy in Los Angeles, but these faces were new. Just as I started staring. One of the two turned around. He had blackish brown hair and a blue streak in the front he looked around my age. I turned my head and started walking to first period when I heard something come up behind me. "Hey, I'm Ethan. Sorry if I scared you but I caught you staring and I couldn't help but to stare right back at you." Ethan said while blushing. I was still in shock (I absolutely hate surprises). "Hi, I'm Brookely. Are you new here?" I said smiling really hard. "Yeah, I just moved here with my twin brother Grayson." Ethan said as a rushed his fingers through his hair. "Cool. Where's your brother since you left him to find me?" I said giggling like a 5 year old. "I'm sure he'll find me. Do you know where Ms. Mackels class is?" Ethan asked showing me his schedule. "Yeah Ms. Mackel is my first period too, follow me" I said  while blushing.
