*Third person pov*

Miyako was walking down the hallways of her grand castle, she was in fighting gear and could be mistaken as a soldier. Her hips swayed and her hair bounced, it was 1 in the afternoon and she wanted to train. Her mother's last words were 'you're going to rule this country one day Miyako. You need to be strong, you need to be willing to take on the burdens of this land and do what ever it takes to save the people; but you also must be kind and gentle. Look into your heart whenever you are lost, it'll guide you.' Ever since then she has listened to her mothers words and became strong mentally and physically. Her father and siblings were devastated after her death, but Miyako stayed strong she didn't cry; she helped soothe the pain. Everyday Miyako looks more and more like her mother, she has her mothers eyes, her mother's hair, but her fathers face shape and his lips. Her attitude reminded the king so much of his late wife he favored her over all his children. Now he knew he shouldn't but he did. The three other siblings were allowed to travel and do what they pleased, but Miyako wasn't allowed to leave the castle unless a war came up and she absolutely had to go. Being one of the 13 generals she was the strongest of the strong, and everyone in the world knew her name.

"Soldier! You are going to be late for training! The king is coming to watch." A Scandenavian soldier said walking up behind her, he grabbed her roughly and dragged her down the hall. They went through a door and the court yard where all the new recruits trained were standing there. The pillars providing shade where Miyako was being dragged.

"Please, let me go." Miyako said nicely in a soft tone. The soldier didn't say anything, he just threw her into the court yard and she fell on her knee's in front of her father.

"Miyako, what are you doing?" He asked confused. He helped his daughter up and looked at the soldier who threw his daughter.  "You! How dare you throw the first princess of Scandenavia?!" He yelled.

"Father, calm down. It's okay, I'm not hurt."  Miyako replied calming him down. The king looked at his daughter and sighed, he then looked back towards the soldier.

"You must be new here. I'll let you off easily this time." He muttered.

"Right, sorry your highness." The soldier said from under his mask. Miyako looked towards the new recruits and smiled at the instructor.

"They look like fine soldiers Kiran." Miyako smiled. He blushed and then went down onto his knees.

"My princess, it is an honor for you to join us much less give our new recruits compliments." Kiran looked up. "If it pleases your highness's would you like to see a demonstration? Our new recruits are especially strong this year."

"Kiran, please call me Miyako." She smiled, she crouched and held her hand out for him to take. Kiran took her hand and she helped him stand.  "I'd love to see a demonstration. Wouldn't you father?" Her father smiled.
