Lisa Flinchbaugh and Mia walked around Lisa's house. Lisa looked at her stomach, she watched it every day as it increased. She was so concerned about the babies. Mia cleaned Lisa's feet for her as she wanted to take a nap. Lisa knew that when she was young, she looked forward to a happy pregnant woman but now she was just sad having to know the children will end up fighting each other. Mia had become best friends with Lisa four years ago and their friendship has been a lovely one.
Kathy Kerman and Diane Chaikin came inside Lisa's room to check on her. Unlike Lisa and Mia, they don't know about the witches and wizards. Neither do they know about the prophesy. All they know is that their friend became pregnant and they were happily sad for her because they just wondered how and where Lisa got her pregnancy from but nevertheless they were happy for her.
Kathy looked at the way Mia helped Lisa to her bed. Kathy was once Lisa's best friend. According to Kathy, Lisa told her everything. She just didn't like the fact that Mia had taken her place. She was always disgusted by Mia's presence.
"Hey Mia!" Diane said, "Weldone there." Thanks Diane. It's not easy taking care of a sluggish pregnant lady like Lisa." Mia said this and chuckled a bit but unfortunately Kathy didn't find it funny.
"If you're tired, you can as well leave. No one begged you to be here." She said with annoyance.
"It was just a joke Kathy. Keep your cool." Mia said.
"My cool? What do you know about my cool?" Kathy almost shouted.
"I'm pleading, don't fight. Not right now at this time. I'm feeling dizzy over here." Lisa said making their attention turn to her.
Kathy helped Lisa sit up on her bed while Mia stomped out of the room with the disgust. Lisa watched her leave, she knew she was going to be back but before that she needed to speak to Kathy. She was acting too childish.
"Why did you act that way, Kathy?"
"It's annoying. She took my position as your best friend."
"Kathy?"
"It may seem childish but it's the fact."
"Look Lisa. To me I feel that Mia is not wanted here." Diane said, "You didn't ask us before she became your friend. I don't blame Kathy too much."
"Guys! She is our friend."
"Your friend." Kathy corrected.
"Kathy? Look Mia is a friend because of a particular reason."
"Oh so she's your friend for a reason. Once that reason is completed. She is out of your life, right?" Diane asked.
"Yes but her reason is practically going to last till I die." Lisa saw the disgust on their faces. She smiled, "Alright guys. You're my friends, right?"
"Sure." Kathy and Diane said in unison.
"If you're my friends then you wouldn't care about my other friend at this moment but these beautiful beings growing in me."
Kathy and Diane smiled. Lisa succeeded in diverting their attention. Any time the topic came up, she ended up looking for something to divert them. She never sorted the matter out. She knew they were just being inconsiderate. If they knew the prophesy, maybe just maybe they would be able to understand but she couldn't risk their lives by telling them. Even she knew little of the prophesy. All she knew was that she was going to give birth to enemies.
Diane and Kathy spoke for some time with her before they left. Not long after they left, Mia walked inside, "It's time for your walk." She said coldly, "I'll help you dress up."
Lisa held Mia's hand to stop, "Mia? Shouldn't we at least talk?" There was no response. Lisa left Mia's hand and went out of the room. Lisa got ready and met Mia outside the house. They walked down to a water fall and stayed there.
"Mia?"
"I don't like this, Lisa. You know that. Why can't they accept me? What's up with them?"
Lisa smiled a bit before answering, "They're jealous because you have qualities they don't."
"Don't say that again Lisa. You love them, they are your sisters how will they be jealous of me."
Lisa knew where that question was leading to. She sighed and looked at the waterfall "Such a nice fall."
"I'm not a fool like them Lisa. I am smart. They never sought out this fight, they are always looking for one way to end the conversation and then it happens again. It will never stop happening again until you sought it out."
Lisa sighed 'It hadn't worked on Mia.'
"I'm sorry but there isn't anything to do about it. Both of you guys confuse me. I get confused when it happens."
"I try to understand Diane and Kathy but they don't try to understand me."
"You are right about that. Just a little more patience."
Mia wasn't sure if she had any patience left in her. She just had no choice because of her mission. She thought to herself. 'If not that Jendaya did not professionally announce that Mia was her daughter, she wouldn't be in the position she is in'. Mia smiled at Lisa.
"Fine Lisa, but for now you need to settle down because they didn't let you rest."
Lisa smiled happily. She had settled the topic with one of her friend. She was now left with Diane and Kathy. Lisa walked back home with Mia's support. When they got to the front of the house they met Louis. He followed them into the house to talk to them. Lisa laid down on her bed.
"What are we going to do about them?" Louis asked
"Speaking of them do you mean Linda Lee and Lexi Lee?" Lisa asked.
"Linda Lee and Lexi Lee, why does names?" Louis asked concerned.
"It's because that's the name my mom and dad said I should name my children."
Louis sighed
"Is anything wrong?" Lisa asked.
Louis and Mia quickly regained consciousness from the shock of the name. Linda Lee and Lexi Lee continued sounding in Louis' head. Neither Louis or Mia had told Lisa about the name Linda Lee and Lexi Lee. Louis hoped that Lisa wouldn't name her children that. Louis has been in tears since he heard about the prophesy. He had gone back to Dumaka uncountable times to seek a solution but Dumaka hasn't seen any solution.
Lisa saw the worried looks on Louis and Mia's faces, "Are the names so terrible?" She asked worried
"Oh no, they are so sweet." Mia added quickly
"It is so unique." Louis said
"Thank you." Lisa said smiling, "I think I need to rest now."
"Oh yes, you do." Louis said as he and Mia went out.
