Alyssa POV

Hayes and i were back in his room. Just talking about anything really. Just before we up in our tree. He was gonna tell me why he snapped at me and that but to be honest thats not the way i liked to meet after 2 years aprt. It was just me. Like he can tell me but after we reunite.

"So how's life been the last 2 yrs" My smile faded when he said that i was actually dreading for him not to say that. After what happened that was probably the last thing i wanted to talk about.... my life, even it was Hayes but eventually i had to tell him.

"well.... when i first arrived i met this guy named Jai... I'm not sure if you've heard of him before but he auditioned for X-factor, He's Jai Waetford..." i asked Hayes who just shook his head.

"Well anyway after like a week or so we dated..." i looked over at Hayes who looked like he was watchin a good movie. Like any moment now i could imagine him getting up to get up to get popcorn.

"......it didnt really work out so we broke upbefore school started. Eventually people found out. I dont even know how. It turned out Jai was hell popular. I probably only had one best friend that whole time" Hayes got up and hauled me into a hug. I didnt even feel like the urge to cry. I mean its sad and that but that was the past and that deffinantly doesnt need to follow me into america. I decided not to tell Hayes about dad. I am still pretty vunerable about the death.

"so that's my life for ya.... what about you, how was 2 years without me"

He gave a cheesy smile. "actually pretty good if you must ask.." I just tuck my toungue out. and crossed my arm Haven't acted like me in aages. Me. Alyssa Stevens. Well yeah i've always was me but in Australia it was like another new person you'll ever see again.

"okay so when you left i quit football..." i literally choked when he said that.

"OMG WHY HAYES... FOOTBALL WAS YOUR LIFE" He looked a little taken back but it was true. Football was his life and he gave that up.

"well im sorry... but when you left i got no motivation anymore to keep playing. Remember how you'll always be there at games, training and even parties just supporting me. It didnt seem right to keep playing" i felt a little guilt creepin up but still. I nodded i understand his desicion now. I remember being there from the very start where he first went to the footy trials. Ever since then ive been there. I smiled and he Started to continue.

"umm the tree nearly got knocked down."  i sat there pretty shocked.

"WHY" i practically shreiked.

"im not sure why. but I couldnt let them knock it down so i chained myself to it." My smile instantly brightened so he actually risked his life for our memories.

"My hero" i said in a girly tone.

"well no need to thank me" he said in a super hero voice. We started cracking up laughing. I honestly havent laughed that hard in years.

"and your girlfirend?" we stopped laughing and the room filled with silence. "i didnt think you'd want to know..." he sat back down on his bed. of course i didnt wanna hear about her but it was still Hayes girl whether i liked it or not.

"of course i do... i need to look out for my best mate after all" i said then winked then smiled which revealed my dimples.

"ok if you say so..." it seemed like he was hesitant on whether he should tell me or not but he soon started to talk.

"i met her last month... i think.." i quietly laughed

"well anyway we met at school one day and we instantly bacame good friends. That resulted her to come to my house to meet everyone. And gladly they liked her exept Nash but that doesn't matter. I soon asked her out at the carnival when we were in the ferris wheel and yeah we've been dating ever since," Hayes put his head into his hands
