"I'm home Ma!" The boy called out, unaware of the stench coming from the upstairs floor.
"Hey ma?! Ya home?! It's your favourite and only son...!" He took a step towards the kitchen.
"Ugh, what in the name of God is that stench?" He took his time walking up the stairs to the left, taking in the home he hadn't seen in a few months since Christmas. After a few steps he made it up to the landing where his little sisters bedroom sat, door wide open.
"Jocie..? You playing some hide n seek?" The boy chuckled and pretended to look around wondering where she was before entering the room to a horrid sight, his mothers corpse decomposed to the bone, rats and crows munching at what was left.
"Oh dear lord...Ma?!? SOMEONE HELP!!" The boy, now screaming in terror pulled out his cellphone to dial 911, unaware of the hell he'd just discovered.
