Chapter 1 - New School

"Kenedy, it's your first day of school you'll be fine." My cousin Rylie said. "No I won't. Why did we have to move here from Texas? I asked. "Nothing you need to know. Now go finish getting ready you don't want to be late on your first day of senior year." She said making me get off the chair I was sitting on to go get ready.

Once I got to school Rylie told me to go to the office because I registered late. "Hi I'm new to this school and my cousin said I have to come here for my schedule." I said to the lady that works here. "Welcome to San Clemente High, whats you full name so I can find you in the system." She said. "Kenedy Carter Cortez" I told her. "Okay I found you, you have to go in to the room where all the people who just moved here get there schedule's. It's right behind this building." She said while pointing out the window. "Thanks." I said while walking out.

I walked into the office, got my schedule and sat down because i was told someone would show me where my classes where. While I was waiting 5 other people came in and had to wait to. About 5 minutes later a boy walked in and asked for me. I got up with my stuff so we could go. "Hi, I'm Kenedy." I said while holding out my hand. He smiled, "I'm Kian. Can I see your schedule?" He asked and I handed it to him. I saw him smile while looking at the paper. "What?" I asked. "Your name sounds cute, Kenedy Carter Cortez." He giggled. I looked down and started blushing. "Now let get on with this tour thing."

He started walking as I walked behind him. "You have English, with Mrs. Callister first." He said and showed me the building. "Next, you have Geometry, with Mr. Shwarts, and me." He said. "Good thing I know someone in one of my classes." I said while smiling at him. "Actually, I have that plus free period and P.E. with you." He said winking when he said free period.

I laughed a little. "Do you know anybody besides me at this school?"He asked. "Well, considering I just moved here a month ago from Texas, no." I aswered. "Good, that means your going to be with me during lunch!" He said.

After the tour, we sat at some benches because there was still 10 minutes before school started. "Why did you move here?" He asked. "To be honest, I have no clue." I answered. "Why didn't your parents tell you?" He asked another question. "Actually, I don't live with my parents." I answered. He gave me a weird look. "Long story." I said basically answered his question. "Oh okay. Anyways we have 3 minutes to get to class so we should start going. I'll walk you." We both got up and walked to my class. "Don't forget to find me during lunch?" He said as he winked and walked away.

Hey people! Here is the first chapter. I hope you like it because it took me an hour to type it. No joke. ANYWAYS if you like it leave a comment of what you think bc honestly i have no clue how good/bad this is. You tell me. Btw sorry it was short. Its currently 2 am an i need my sleep.
