Chapter 5

Before I knew it, it was already Monday. I'm going to try socialize with people.

"Mom I'm leaving!" I yelled.

I looked around in the kitchen to see if mother would see me. This was my chance to teleport to school instead of damn walking.

Mother would be furious if she found out I was using my powers. Furious is just an understatement.

When I saw I was clear, I teleported and I made it to school.

When I got there, Morgan passed me again.

I have had enough. I got a hold of her arm and turned her around.

"What's wrong?" I asked showing that I was concerned.

She just looked down. "Come with me. Somewhere private." She said soft sad voice.

When she found a quiet place she placed her hand on her chest and took deep breaths before speaking.

"Jax, I-I feel like I'm irritating you. Something tells me that you don't want to be around me so why should we talk? All you ever do is ignore me when I've been nothing but nice to you. Why?" She said.

"You're right. Look I'm not good with people. I'm just not a talker. Sorry I made you feel bad. Hug me?" I said.

She smiled and hugged me instantly. I love the way she smelled. Like vanilla and her short hair is so beautiful and always has a pleasant smell.

"You're so tall Jax!" She said smiling. I chuckled.

"So you wanna come over to my house after school?" I asked.

"No I can't make today. My cousins from Scotland are coming. Will you be available later on tonight?" She said holding my hand.

"Yeah, want me to call you?" I asked.

She nod her head yes.

Hours later it was already last period. Time surely went. We had no teacher thank goodness.

Morgan and I just talked. Then this girl came up to me flirting with me.

Morgan looked pissed, but why?

"Listen you whore bitch, get moving because I know damn well you see Jax and I talking! Okay bye now. Bitch be gone." She said angrily.

Have I found the girl of my dreams? I laughed hard at the situation. It was so unexpected.

"Damn Morgan, didn't know you had it in you."

She giggled. To be honest, her laugh is really cute.

After some time the bell rang. We left together.

I walked her home and I went home.
