Going home to Katniss...(Katniss and Gale) hunger games

Chapter 4

A.N: THIS IS JUST A FILLER CHAPTER AND ITS KINDA SHORT BUT ONE OF MY FAVES SO FAR!!                                                                

   Gales P.O.V

I was just about to leave the school, desperate to get out of here. I just spent a good hour talking about a part of my life I wanted to forget.  The kids where enticed by my tales of the hunger games, like it was some really twisted horror story. 

"Excuse me"

I turn around surprisd, standing behind me was a girl aroud 10 or 11 years old.  I had noticed her in the assembly she was very quiet and wasn't as excited as the other children. Her hair was in a very complecated looking braid, It was a light brown. Her clothes looked more expensive than the other childrens, but she didnt strike me as the type of girl who would care.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

She proberbly just wanted to ask another question for her project.

"My names Willow"

Her accent had a very slight seam quality to it. Thinking about it she wouldn't look out of place in District 12, well apart from her eys, as they where a dark blue....

A pair of dark blue eyes, that I recognised only too well.

"Willow Mellark" she finished. what do I say to that.

"Um....Well.. I.."

"It was my mother wasnt it ?" she asked "The girl, you were talking about, your friend was Katniss Everdeen."

I was not expecting that. How does she know? I could only nod.

"where do you live, is she ok?" So many questions where running through my mind. The girl just smiled at my question,  I had no idea why. Then she turned and ran of down the corridor. Do I follow her? 

I sighed and pushed open the door. I knew what I needed to do, it would be hard, but I should have done it years ago. 

I was going to see my Mother...

Duh, DUH, DUH!!!!!
