My name is Salacia Cordelia Jones. My friends call me Sal. I am in love with the sea. It's not like it's my hobby or aesthetic. I am undeniably in love. When I was 13 I almost drown. But in the 5 minutes and 30 seconds the ocean held me under I found myself. It went slowly but I took time and stopped. I breathed with the ocean. It's alive. There was something familiar about it. It reminded me of something or someone. I have never felt right anywhere except one place. The sea. I am so boring everywhere else. I don't have very many friends anymore. No one understands my love for the thing that could kill me. I was falling into the ocean though. Every time I went I stayed under water longer. It seemed as if I could almost breathe. I felt free. It was almost like I was flying. It almost felt as if I wasn't ........human.
