The Hiring

Max's POV

Sup, I'm Maxine. Most people call me Max tho. Anyway, I've recently been looking for a good steady job to have. I heard this place called Freddy Fazbair's is hiring, so I'm gonna go for an interview and check it out to see what it's like. A pizzeria, Animatronics? wow, cool haha! Oh shoot, I have to go to the pizzeria  for my interview!  

I leave my apartment and drive to the pizzeria, I pull into the parking lot and look at the place. "Oh damn this looks like a pretty cool place already haha" I say to myself. I walk up to the building and go inside. And oh my god, it's amazing inside!!   There's a guy sitting on one of the tables. he looks like he's waiting for someone.

I walk up to him and say hi.  "Oh hello there!  You're Maxine, right?"  What. How does he know my name, I never told anyone my name. I just saw an ad online lol. but whatever.  "Um yeah, but call me Max" Well, I guess he's the interview guy?  "So um, what's your name?"   He looks over to me and stands up, "My name is Mike Shmidt, you might have heard of me. I used to have the nightshift job.." He.. seems a bit hesitant while talking.. hmm.

"Actually, no. I don't think I've heard of you. I don't come here much, only of I'm babysitting my little cousin."  Hmm. I wonder why he'd assume I knew about him. Weird.  "Oh, well that's alright, anyways. How about I show you around the place?"

Mikes POV

"Woah. Feels weird to be back here. And I don't like it. It's.. Different than before. Like, there's new Animatronics and everything. Haven't seen them yet though." I think out loud to myself "Thank god I'm letting some random girl take my job haha. I'm just wandering around the Pizzeria and I get to the stage area. I look behind the curtain.."Oh my god.." The new animatronics, they're.. I'm not sure how to put this.. Sexy.? Shit man. "Well then."  I really need to stop thinking out loud, they do have minds of they're own so.. 

I sit down on one of the tables and I just stare at the stage curtain. All of a sudden I hear the front doors open. It's probably just that new girl Maxine. Whatever. I just stay sitting and from the corner of my eye I see her walk up beside me.  "Hi there!" Well I guess I should greet her. Oh hello there, Megan right?"  She looked confused on how I knew her name, considering she's never met me before.  "Um, yeah but call me Max."  Well, I guess I can do with that. Then she asks me what my name is, 'My name is Mike Shmidt, you might have heard of me. I used to have the nightshift job.." Frankly, I just wish I hadn't ever gotten that job... 

She had a thinking look on her face. "Actually, no, I don't think I've heard of you. I don't come here much. Only if I'm babysitting my baby cousin." Hmm, Well then, that's weird. "Oh well, that's alright, anyways. How about I show you around the place?" I'm actually kind of hesitant to show her around.. she looks so innocent I really don't want her to get hurt or something..  I start to walk her to the kitchen. "Uh, Mike, you seemed, I don't know. Unsure about me being here..."  Fuck. Maybe i'll just ignore that.  But of course, as I expected... she spoke again. "Um excuse me, I'm talking to you"  

I stop and look at her "Look Max, I understand your curious about this shit, but I would really like it if you could fucking not talk about how unsure I am, Alright?" I snapped. I don't care anymore honestly. She shut up after that. About 15 minutes go by and I've shown her everything but the animatronics.

"So, all that's left are the animatronics for you to see. But, we're kind of out of time here. You can see them later tonight when  your shift starts. Be back here by like maybe 10 minutes before 12 am. Okay?" She looked at me and smiled. "Yes, definitely!" Fuck she's way too happy about this job haha. Oh well....

Max's POV 

"Fuck yeah dude!! I'm 16 and I got the job as a damn night shift security guard, how fucking sick is that?!" I'm yelling to my brother over the phone. "Damn, that's awesome Max. How much you getting paid??" Hmm actually I never got told that.. I guess I'll find out tonight then. "Fuck, I think I'm finding out tonight, the site for the place said that the job pays a lot. So I think I'll be able to get enough money to come see you soon. Hopefully" My brother sighed "Yeah..hopefully.." He sounds worried but I brush it off. "Fuck, it's 11:26. It takes me about 15 minutes to get to Freddy Fazbair's. Um I'll call you back tomorrow ok bro?" 

He sighed again, "Okay, love you lil sis. Don't get into shit tonight haha" Wow that's so helpful of him haha. "Thanks haha, love you too bro. Bye"   "Bye" I hung up, grabbed my stuff and left my apartment for the Pizzeria.
