"NOOO!!!" Jay screamed after seeing the terror her mind came up with."Jay!" Kate said while heavily panting. "What's wrong?" "It was just a... a dream, Kate." Jay said panting while closing her eyes."I'm fine. Go back to sleep." she whispered loud enough for Kate to hear.

"Fine, fine! You are not "fine" and you know it! Whenever you get these dreams, these nightmares, you wake up screaming because you see... you see our deaths. So please, let me stay with you so I at least know that you won't feel so alone. Please, Jay."

By now Kate was crying because of the pain and suffering her aunt goes through day and night. She knows that Jay rarely sleeps because of her nightmares.

After staring into Kate's eyes and seeing the determination, hope, and pain, Jay sighed. "Alright. Come here little one," she said. "I'm not little." Kate pouted as she crawled onto the bed into her aunt's outstretched arms. Jay laughed and said "Alright young one. Is that better?" "Much," Kate replied as Jay wiped her remaining tears away.

As they laid there, Kate began to smile.Noticing this Jay asked " Why are you smiling?" curious and a bit amused by her dear niece. "I just remembered about when you first started training me," she replied. "Ah, yes. You would always complain that I was too hard on you." Jay said remembering. "I would try and sneak off so that I wouldn't have to train but you always caught me," Kate said remembering it as if it was yesterday.

"And now every time I mention training you to light up like a kid on Christmas day." Jay teased. "Well, what can I say. Even though your training can be harsh, it's exciting. And what you teach can be so graceful and free yet deadly. Besides, I was trained by the best of the best." Kate replied. Jay grinned.

"Yep. Hey, remember when Fox dyed your hair bright orange?" Jay asked while slightly chuckling. "Yes! How can I not remember that?" Kate said.

They talked about the happy moments they had with their 'family.' "I'm glad I have such good uncles," Kate said sleepily. "Yeah, me too," Jay replied as they fell asleep remembering the good times with her brothers.
