"When you smile, everything's in place."
Hindi mapigilan ni Mimi ang mapangiti, tamang-tama kasi sa tao na kasalukuyang laman ng isip niya ang kantang sinasabayan.
"I've waited so long. Can make no mistake."
Ilang taon na nga ba? Dalawa? Tatlo? O buong buhay niya?
"All I am, reaching out to you."
He's too far for her already outstretched hands. Yet, did she gave up? Nope.
"I can't be scared. Gotta make a move."
Oh, yes. She was given a chance, at hindi niya sinayang iyon.
"Wh-"
"What are you doing?"
A shiver run down her body. An automatic response whenever she heard his voice.
"Sumasayaw." sagot niya, keeping her back on him.
"Very funny. Ano na ngang title niyan? Moving closer, right?"
He didn't wait for her answer. Sinabayan na lang nito ang kanta.
"Inch by inch we're moving closer."
She felt it. The moment he took his first step. Towards her.
"Feels like a fairy tale."
Smiling, hinarap niya ito. Their eyes met, and everything else disappear.
"And it take my heart, this is the moment."
Tears appeared in her eyes. Everything still felt so surreal. Parang panaginip na pag-gising niya ay mawawala ang lahat.
"I'm moving closer to you." he continued to sing while keeping their eyes met.
He closed the distance between them, invading her personal space. Ramdam niya ang init mula sa katawan nito. Telling her that everything is real. Her tears fell down.
"I'm moving closer to you."
Wiping the tears away, his eyes held hers, wearing the smile na kanila lang ay laman ng isip niya.
"Iyakin." tukso nito.
She smiled back and engulfed him in a hug. Chuckling quietly, he hug her back. Much tighter.
Para siyang tanga, smiling goofily in his chest. But she can't help it. This guy, na dati'y pangarap lang niya, is now finally...
"Mine."
