IM IN ENGLAND AND MY FAMILY (mother and father but included) ARE IN TURKEY AND I JUST WITNESSED MY UNCLE GETTING ENGAGED!! YAAAAAAY! IN TURKISH TRADITION THE FATHER OF THE MALE ASKS THE GIRL'S FARHER FOR HER HAND IN MARRIAGE WITH THE SON. AND MY GRANDFATHER GOT EMOTIONAL AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. AND TEH FATHER OF MY GONNA -BE-AUNT-ON-WEDDING-DAY SAID YAS AND I WAS GONNA CRY AND I WAS LIEK "I need to be strong" SO I HELD IT IN BUT MY NOSE STARTED GETTING RED Like Rudolf THE RED NOSED REINDEER AND AFTERWARDS I CRIED AND NOW ITS FABULOUS. Is it weird instead of being like "Yay my uncle proposed" I'm like " Look at him ! HIS A GROWN MAN NOW!!! TRUE LOVE! OTP IRL"... is it weird? Cause his LIEK always played games with me and we would bond a lot so this is really emotional for me . I'm crying right now.
