Strange things

We reached the room and nothing was in there until the tiny windows flew open. Smoke filled the room and an engine turned on. Horns blew and tyres screeched.

I boosted Holly up to see what was going on and all she said was: "Put me down now."

I quickly let go of her and all of a sudden the fire brigade came in a flash.

I heard distant shouting and murmering from what seemed to be people having a private conversation next to my house. I was like why would you do that when you can obviously see a window open? I looked up for a closer look and they looked pretty shady.

Finally they left and we were left thinking about what just happened outside. Still wondering where Lilly went, still wondering what that conversation was about and still wondering about that car...
