Tooru actually has some bad conditions.
- His right hand is deformed and he can barely use it, yet open and close his hand.
- He has a heart defect and he needs to take care of himself. Means he can't drink alcohol, is not allowed to smoke or doing something which takes much effort etc.
- His bad knee is incurable, means he has to limb for the rest of his life.
- His sight is not the best and he actually needs to wear his glasses nonstop
