Trixie, a smart young protégé (do I get bonus points for the fancy word) was currently spending her summer with her mentor to see if she wanted to be his full-time apprentice( I should mention that auto corrected to 'appearance' like 6 times). She was currently done for the day and decided to enjoy the afternoon in her room.
As she sat down on her bed and got a book a hat glided through the window. She looked at the floor to see an old dirty blue and white hat. It had a small pine tree on the front. She picked the hat up and examined it. She then went over to the mirror and tried it on. She thought it looked nice on her. "Hi", she heard a small voice say from beside her.
She turned to see a small boy with brown hair and brown eyes, just like hers. "Who are you", she asked. "I am Dipper, Dipper Pines. You're Trixie right", the boy said kindly. "Yes, how do you know my name", asked Trixie, 'I've heard that name before' she thought. "Your mom, she was my twin sister. Before the um, accident", he said akwardly.
