Suddenly Dipper disappeared, causing Trixie to look around frantically. Suddenly she was booed on the shoulder. She turned around to see Dipper with a smile and an ice cream cone. Trixie squealed and took the ice cream, happily licking it and deciding ice cream was important now, serious stuff was important later.
Dipper chuckled as she reminded him on his sister. Speaking of which, he hadn't seen her in SO long, she's grown up, age wise at least. She had a kid, but where's the husband? Dipper decided to investigate after Trixie had fallen asleep.
He snuck down stairs but he couldn't see any photos or hints of a guy living in the house. Dipper thought it was odd and after a while of investigating decided to give up. While he didn't technically need sleep, it wouldn't hurt to conserve his energy. And so, Dipper went to "sleep" in his old hat, almost like a possession type situation.
