Hogwarts is my home ( Harry Potter sort of fan fic)

gotta get back to school

ugh class... I forgot that coming back home means class agine.

it's been a few weeks and like every year it feels like I never left.

it's a cold Tuesday afternoon and our first quidditch practice of the year.

I run to my room to put on my caption shirt and get my broomstick. I love my broomstick it's a Firebolt Supreme and I have been playing quidditch on it since my first practice as part of the Hufflepuff team.

I walk out on to the quidditch pitch and take a deep breath, the smell of freshly cut grass fills the air and I can't help but smile. I am truly home.

I pull the box out on to the pitch as the team comes to meet me.

we have 3 new members, second years standing close together with a terrified look on there face.

two of them are Chasers our 3rd chaser is a year younger then me and he is pretty good.

the other second year is a beater along with Alice. our Keeper is in Alices year and is very good I'm sort of surprised that I became caption and not him. and that leaves me, the Seeker.

I the Quaffle and and one of the two Bludgers (I try to start easy in the first practice) and off we go.

practice is over, it went better then I thought.

me and Alice head to the girls locker room as the Slytherin team head out for there practice. I notice her changing her top and feel my ears turn red as I look down at the floor. Alice rools eyes " Hi Ivy how are you?" I look up to see her coming over to say hi. I looked at Alice with a mortified. look on my face, "Hi Alice how was your summer?" Ivy says giving her a hug I'm staring at the floor wishing I could become invisible. "pretty good, yours?" Alice says brightly "great, how about you Jess?" she's says turning to me, my whole face turns red "fine..." I mumble and start walking away as fast as I could without running.

a few minutes later Alice finds me behind the Hufflepuff lockers. "you are a complete idiot do you know that?" she says sitting down next to me and putting her head on my shoulder, I sigh "ya trust me I've noticed".

I get back to my room about half an hour. before dinner and fall face forward in to my pillow and make a loud growing noise.

Agatha and Penny stop bickering over home work and look at me, "well don't you look like a bundled of joy" Agatha says setting down on my trunk at the end of my bed. "what's up?" Penny says in a worried voice as she sits down next to me on my bed.

"ughhhhhhh" I grow in to my pillow and curl up in to a ball. "let me guess..." Penny says getting up "Ivy?" her and Agatha say tougher.

there is moment of silence and I sit up to look at them in shock, "you guys... AGREE!" they look at each other. "yes we do witch means there is no way we are wrong" Penny says seriously.

"so what happend this time?" Agatha asks.

"I'm an idiot" I say throwing myself back in to my pillow.

"no your not you are just in love" Penny says.

at that moment Trixie walks in, there is a moment of awkward silence as we look at each other.

"dinner?" she says finally.

and off we all head to the Great Hall for dinner.
