I Will Only Love You *BMWW*

Chapter 1

Shadow's POV

I smiled as I heard Laura sigh for what seemed like the hundredth time. She had come over after work and just climbed into my bed. It was late and she had to work late. She didn't want to go home. But we both knew she would have to in the morning to pack.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. She rolled over and so did I so we would face each other. She snuggled into me, I held her. "I'm nervous for tomorrow. My family is weird. I just don't want them to scare you off." She said.

I smiled and kissed her forehead.

"They won't. Trust me. You are stuck with me. And sadly. I'm forced to be stuck being your puppy forever." I teased her. She giggled and playfully nudge me.

"All my boyfriends just left me all the time after meeting them. It's like my parents are cursed or something." She said. I smiled at her lovingly.

"Maybe its you that's cursed." I continued to tease. She flicked me.

"I'm being serious." She said. I chuckled at her. "I know. I'm just trying to calm you down. Nothing will happen. It's only for a few days/ Then we will be back here and we can forget about it." I told her.

 "Now we have a very long drive tomorrow. Get some sleep. We'll need to get out on the road early to get your stuff." I told her. "It's in my car." She muttered after she yawned, cuddling into me.

I held her closer and felt her breathe on my skin. It got softer as she fell asleep.

It was time to get ready and I saw that Laura was still asleep. She was going to drive since she knew the way and she was the worst at giving directions.

So after a little bit of an argument, we decided that she would drive us to her parents house.  So I'll allow her to sleep a little longer.

I got up and started to pack.

I first laid everything on my side of the bed and went over to myself what I need. I then remembered that I needed to write down some things for my best friend to know for when he comes over to take care of my dog.

Laura's cat was already here so that the cat is taken care of as well. So I went to the kitchen and started writing things down. Then walked back to the bedroom to see Laura stirring awake.

I smiled fondly at her.

I can't believe how lucky I am to have her. I was a horrible person for her. She knew of my past of being in prison but knew I was a changed man.

 I was arrested for aggravated assault. Got six years but was let out after three for good behavior. She was part of a Christian group who came in every few weeks to pray for us and talk to us.

She was assigned to me.

I guess you could say it was love at first sight. We hit it off great. I can still make her blush like I did back then. She told me she wasn't use to being flirted with. So whenever I did flirt with her, it made her blush like crazy.

When I got out, she helped me get back on my feet. Helped me get a job, my own place. If it wasn't for her, I would still be in my cell. And once out, I would've probably been put right back in.

She took me to her church. I became a new man. A God loving man. I was baptized.  She saved my life. And I love her so much more for it.

I worked double shifts at this gym I work at now, just to make some money to take her out on our first date.

I wanted to propose to her soon. But I wanted to ask her father for permission. Its one of the biggest reasons that I wanted to meet her parents. Meet the future in laws.

I started putting things into my bag.

Laura stretch and yawn.

"Hey baby. You have everything?" She asked, as she looked at me from her laying spot in the bed. Our pets cuddling with her.  I smiled and nodded.

"Do you have yourrrrrrr  bathroom supplies?" She asked. I nodded. "Check." I responded. She started listing things. I think she is trying to wake up by listing things, I was proven correct when she started mubbling things. I smiled at her as she fought to stay wake.

She has been working long and hard so we could do this trip. She doesn't see her family very often. She said they come for holidays but that was it.

She works at the pet grooming that was part kennel and vet.

She loved animals, and wanted to be vet. So she was actually a student, but worked at the grooming for a few hours then goes to be taught by the head vet.

So she works hard already, and the past week she has been working even more. She has been staying here since she was always to tired to finish driving home.

 That's why her cat is already here. I had picked the cat to my place while she was working, as well as some clothes for her.

Once I was packed we went to the car and I took her to breakfast as well as Starbucks to get me a coffee and her a hot chocolate.

We then switched seats so she could start driving.

Here we go.

Just a few days then I can start helping to plan my marriage to this beautiful and sexy woman that I love with everything I have.
