Chapter 2

"Don't be such a girl, we had to kill him! You know we had to, he was a threat."

"Stop it, it was rough, couldn't we just persuade? The girl would never listen to us now."

"Va-."

"Don't Valandir me, Ouch watch it!"

I could feel the darkness enter my body, eat me from inside out, like rats trying to escape. I heard voices, I couldn't differentiate them, but I was sure it wasn't someone talking to themself. I wanted to open my eyes, see the sunlight again. But I couldn't, it felt like my eyes were taped together making it impossible to open them again.

"Finally Aronn there you are." One of them said, I suppose it were just two of them, well. Three now. Wait a minute.. Aronn? That couldn't be..

"This is her right? I'm not sure but she must be the girl of the past."

"Yes she is, the same as I left her, well except for the aging part of course." Yes it was!

"Right then"

I could hear them walking off. Slowly I started to open my eyes, afraid of the light that might blind me, but nothing. I was sure I opened my eyes, why couldn't I see then? I looked around and saw shapes, something that looked like a table. I wasn't blind! Happiness overcame me and I couldn't do anything but smile. Then I started to worry, how about my sister? And who was the man they were talking about? But most important. Where was I? Who were these people? And who was this Aronn? Was it the Aronn?

I could feel the time pass slowly as I tried to get up, I rubbed my eyes with my hands and blinked twice. My legs felt ready to fall off but that didnt stop me from standing. I placed my feet on the ground and put my weight on them but as soon as I let go of the table I fell down. My hands could catch the ground and I tried to look around. Right then I heard voices coming closer, I had no time to hide under the table and got myself ready for what was to come..
