Chapter 1
I was walking towards my house when I heard someone yelling my name behind me telling me to move out of the way! It startled me so I jumped out of the way to see a van speed past me! Ugh people around here need to learn how to drive! I don't even think I knew those people....how did they know my name? "Brooklyn!! Hey!" Oh god I should've known who it was! It was Jack Gilinsky the most obnoxious boy in my school! He was popular and could get any girl he wanted! I have to admit he was pretty hot but I didn't want him to know that! "What Jack?' I say as I turn around! I guess you could say I didn't really know him or his personality but how he carries himself says he's pretty confident and sometimes too much confidence means cockiness. "Well someone's a little feisty today! Anyway I was just going to say sorry about yelling at you but I didn't want to hit you!" He says. "It's fine Jack but I really do have to get back home!" I say walking off. "Wait Brooklyn! Let me give you a ride! It's the least I could do since I was such a jerk earlier!" He says. I just nod my head and hop in the car.
