unexpected love

The question

Anna's pov

When shane pulled in my drive way I got nervous today was the day I was going to tell him that I love him. Shane was wearing black skinny jeans and a loose fitting band shirt and damn he looks amazing.

"What do you want to do today?" Shane asked.

"Lets go to the park and get ice cream."  I said.

on the way to the park I was wondering how I wpuld tell him that I loved him. I've loved him seince I met him in eighth grade but I have never told him becaise I was scared that he didnt feel the same way.

"Are you okay Anna?" Shane asked me noticing my worried expression on my face.

"yeah im fine im just thinking of some things." I answered.

When we arrived to the park we got out of his car and walked to the ice cream cart. Shane ordered a chocolate ice cream cone and I ordered a vinilla ice cream on a cone. We started walking down a path and I looked over at Shane and stoped walking and asked " Shane can I tell ypu something?"

"yes, I need to tell you something too." Shane said.

"okay you first."I said

"no you first." Shane said. 

"okay, I think im in love with you." I spoke quietly.

"thats great Anna because I think I love you to and I was scared you didnt feel the same way."Shane says.

Oh my god he loves me too! I'm so happy I was so scared that he didnt feel the same way but it turns out that he has felt the same was for as long as I have.  We kept walking down a path till we made it to a lake. we sat at the lake for what felt like 3 hours before the sun started setting.  We watched the sun set and just as the sun was setting Shane looked at me and says "I have a question for you Anna."

What was he going to ask me? Does he want to know why I love him?

Shane's pov

"okay I think im in love with you." spoke Anna.

Thats the same thing i wanted to tell her. Why didnt she tell me sooner maybe things would have been different.

"that's great Anna because I think I love you too and I was scared that you wouldn't feel the same way." I replied.

We kept walking down the path till we stoped at a lake. We were there fpr three hours before the sun started setting. Today was the day I was gping to ask Anna to be my girlfriend. I look over at Anna and shes laying beside me looking up at the sky. She looks so sweet and adorable just laying there. As im looking at her she looks at me " I have a question for you Anna." I say. Her face looked a little worried and a little haopy at the same time.

"Will you be my girlfriend Anna? I want to be with you forever. You are my one and only.  You are the onlu one I want to be with." I say.

Her face changes from happy and worried to exited.

"Yes!!!!!" Anna screams.

She climbes up on my lap and hugs me tighter than ever. I wrap my arms arround her waist and look at her face and lean in to kiss her. Our lips conect. Her lips are warm and sweet. When she pulls away I lean my forehead on hers and say "Anna I love you and I always will."

"I love you too Shane and I always will love you nomatter what comes our way."
