The Rebellion of Soo-Won

"Something's different"Akame woke up from her peaceful slumber upon her tree

She looked down and saw guards—Who were supposed to be guarding the doors gathered in one place,with Soo-Won and Kye-Sook

"King Ll is already dead–I have killed him,Capture Princess Yona,She has witnessed the murder so we must silence her too"Soo-Won ordered

Akame gasped a bit,but at least they had not detected her presence yet at the top of the tree,She looked at Soo-Won's eyes

And found it's cerulean blue orbs covered with cold and hatred

"How icy your eyes have grown,Soo-Won"Akame shaked her head before heading to the entrance where she had detected Princess Yona's presence

And what she saw had angered her even more than anything else—Princess Yona,captured by the castle's guards,pinned to the ground with weapons surrounding her

Her red eyes had flamed deep within,and her bloodlust grew even more

"I know,you're angry but try to control your bloodlust,or else they'll spot us here"A deep voice had spoken beside her

"How'd you get up here?"Akame questioned as she gritted her teeth and looked at Hak beside her

"I needed to hide from them too,of course—It's just a coincidence that we ended up on the same tree!"

"That bastard,What is Soo-Won doing?!"Akame said

"He killed Emperor Ll,and now....He's trying to silence Princess Yona because she had witnessed his murder"Akame said

But Akame's eyes widened when she saw a guard lifting up his sword,ready to swing it down and cut Princess Yona's head off

In a split second,Akame had cut the guy's neck and had protected Princess Yona

"A mere guard has no right to raise his weapon on the Princess,Nonetheless point it at her–If you threathen her,you threathen me"Akame spoke as she glared at the men with her fierce red eyes

In a blink of an eye,She had swooped and killed all the guards—Who were surrounding Princess Yona

"Princess Yona,are you okay?"Akame had crouched down and held Yona's hand as she quivered and trembled at the sudden act of the guards and her cousin and love of her life...Soo-Won

"Guards!Surround them!"Kye-Sook had ordered,but of course—Hak decided to help them,with a single blow of his glaive all of them were knocked down

"Guards!"Kye-Sook had continued to call for reinforcements but Soo-Won stopped him

"Kye-Sook"With a single word,Kye-Sook had bowed his head and shut his mouth

"The man standing before you,Is Son Hak—The woman behind him....Is"Soo-Won said trailing off,Kye-Shook saw a bit of hurt in Soo-Won's eyes when he saw Akame

"Son Hak?!Then he is—"

"Yes,He is the heart of the Castle Hiryuu and one of the five generals,The Thunder Beast of Kouka"Soo-Won spoke as he saw Hak,raise his glaive at Soo-Won ready to strike at him

"However,That woman standing behind him...Do you know her?"Soo-Won asked as he pointed to Akame pretending as if he didn't know her

"Black hair and Red Eyes...K-King Soo-Won,That is!"In a second of laying his eyes at Akame,Kye-Sook had already trembled in fear

"How rude,Lord Soo-Won,You dare question her identity when she's been with us since we were kids?"Hak smirked at Soo-Won

"What do you mean?"Soo-Won asked as if he didn't know her

"She was always up on a tree,Watching over us—Like our guardian"Hak spoke but of course,Soo-Won had decided to fight him instead

Soo-Won's sword clashed with Hak's glaive,their never-ending battle—Of course,Hak would clearly win since he is far superior when it comes to sheer talent and strength

But something had prevented him from winning—Princess Yona,Although Akame had taken care of her,he couldn't rest easy

"Hak,Let's go"Akame nodded to Hak as she carried Princess Yona,who was still in shock

"Over here!"In a dark alleyway of the castle stood Min-Soo

"I've only heard of it...But is King Ll really dead?"Min-Soo questioned,Akame shifted her gaze to Primcess Yona and Min-Soo already understood

"Hak,Hold Princess Yona—I'll make an Opening for us"Akame said as Hak nodded taking Yona in his arms

Min-Soo had then started to guide them through the Exit of the Castle,heading for the mountains

"I'll distract them,you guys run over there!"Min-Soo said as he held a woman's kimono above his head to cover his real identity

"Min-Soo..."Akame had muttered his name before giving him a hug—Over the past years she and Min-Soo had grown very close

Hak feel his head boil when he saw the act—But he decided that it wasn't the time for his selfish desires

Min-Soo had already ran down the opposite way and guards started chasing after him,Arrows being rained down on him

"Hak,Cover Princess Yona's eyes,She must not witness this"Akame said as Hak nodded following her order

Akame successfully knocked out the other two guards standing at the exit and they were finally out of the castle and in the mountains

Akame breathe a sigh of relief once they got out,Hak rested Princess Yona on the ground as he and Akame had a small talk

"All of this must be a shock to the Princess.."Akame sighed as she held her black hair up with one of her hands

"Of course,it would be—A princess who had everything she ever wanted given to her,living a life full of happiness suddenly exiled out of her own castle"Hak sighed

"She won't walk unless you pull her hand...And she won't talk,her eyes look lifeless–She's just like a doll"Hak added

"Hak...Let's take her to the Wind Tribe"Akame said

"Of course,there's no other place we could go"Hak smiled as he and Akame nodded at each other before going back to the Princess' side

Hak slept beside the Princess,while Akame climbed on a high tree
