The freezing wind blew through her obsidian black hair, goosebumps trailed up her arm as the blistering breeze daunted her. One footfall after the other lead her further up the precarious path that was laid out before her. Her pale cheeks were stained with tears, and blood stained her dress that blew in accordance with her wispy locks.

'You deserve it.' She said to herself. 'You deserve to die.' Her fingers danced in

Her muffled sobs were inaudible against the horns that blared below.

Misery clung to her, pulling her deeper and deeper into self destruction. She stopped in place, turning towards the city lights. They were beautiful.

'I used to think I was beautiful.' She looked down the steep slope that beckoned to her.

The crowd of people gathered at the base of the skyscraper looked like black smudges on an intricate painting. They were insignificant, worthless. The world would just forget about her if she jumped. They would just pass by, like the blur of headlights on the freeway. A beautiful stream of iridescent color.

   The white and red lights.

White, The color of hope lost. The semblance of her soul, desecrated, leaving her tattered like the shambles of her dress that danced aimlessly in blissful ignorance.

Red, The color of a rose, the color of love. The  of blood and suffering. She was stained with red's corrupted hue.

Her life had ended. Her will to continue lost. There was nothing left of her. She had died long ago, jumping would only be a formality. A gateway into sweet sweet oblivion that she craved. She just wanted it to be over. She just wanted it to end.
