The rain smacked against the window knocking Ellis out of her sleep. She hadn't gotten any since she had a history exam to study for today. " ms. Thomas!" " yes mr.smith?" " my class isn't the time to sleep but since you clearly listening can you tell me what the bay of pigs was?" " um?" Ellis looked around. She wasn't getting out of this one so she responded with a stupid answer. " there was a bay of pigs?" Laughter roared through her classroom loud enough to interrupt the other classrooms. " settle down! Settle down!" The classroom immediately goes quiet. " thank you" mr.smith turns towards Ellis and gives her a sorry for calling you out but I need you to listen smile. Ellis sighs and looks at Katie. She and her bitch squad were laughing at her. Ellis catches a glance at mr.smith who has his back to the board and gives them the finger. They all gasp and retreat back to whispers and giggles. Ellis promised herself when she first started this year she wouldn't be like them. They're all preppy and prim with blonde hair and freshly manicured nails. However the sad part is.. she was one of them before. When she first arrived at wellworth academy she was just a scared 18 year old. Katie and her ex friends welcomed her into their group but once Ellis wanted out, they got angry. Ellis groaned and waited for everyone to leave the classroom, then she got her bag and books and walked up to mr.smith's desk. " okay mr.smith" " thank you Ellis" I turn and head straight for the door, my neck burning up. Once I head outside I run towards the restroom. It's my only change to have peace and quiet before I have math next, and I hate mrs.burns. While inside, I hear a loud argument outside the window. It's Jordan Rockwell and Nancy victors. They're the most richest and popular kids in the school. They have an on and off relationship which annoys me but now they seem to be arguing about some sweater. Rich kid problems! I thought to myself as I turned around for the door but as I was turning around I hear the door slam. I hear an intense struggle and two all familiar voices. It was Alex Kingston and Moira willow. They were secretly running a drug operation in the school, one of the first secrets I learned which is why I stay away from them. " Moira we're in deep shit!" Alex says, not hiding the anger in his voice. " don't you think I know that?!" Moira is clearly upset as well. " if smith finds out about this we're both fucking dead!" I shudder. What the hell does mr.smith have to do with this? " we're gonna have to kill him" I half gasp and half scream. I quickly put my hand over my mouth but I know I'm dead now. Nice going Ellis! " who's here?!" Alex asks. I shake as I hear the glock of a gun and footsteps coming closer. I panic but not before I turn Around and notice a hammer behind me. I pick it up and hold it high, ready to swing. Alex comes around and I hit him straight in the shoulder, the axes gets stuck in his left arm while blood slowly drips out. " fuck! Oh god!" He bends down dropping the gun. " you're dead Ellis we're all dead!" " what does mr.smith have to do with this?!" I ask barely able to speak clearly. Moira just sighs and shakes her head. " Ellis you better get out of here before-" Moira is cut off when the door opens behind her and a hand appears with a knife. It grabs her and makes a nice clean cut across her throat. " no!"
